What actually happened is the impatient husband didn’t want to tell his wife that instead of waiting for his truck to arrive that he ended up spending another $20k to have his truck right now.
I have the notification on for them to be in stock since late August and haven’t received anything. Maybe I could call a showroom and see if they have any on hand.
I wish this package was actually in stock as I would do the same. I gripe a little that the tires on that package aren’t actually winter tires, but I think I’m gonna go Nokian for the CT and try and find some standalone wheel takeoffs.
For the good of the group and at least for detail - I’m getting the light bar per Tesla for sure. Hilariously don’t know about the wheel covers yet.
What an emotional roller coaster Tesla has put some of us on. TLDR; version being - ordered nonfoundation and went through not one, not two but three “confident” delivery dates along with scheduling a delivery which allegedly is only available a day prior to arrive at the showroom at best.. well...
With the delays on my order I started shopping around. Found a nice Cyberbeast for sale with less than 700 miles. VIN in the 20xxx. Has some extra accessories.
With buying it used would I expect updated wheel covers or the lightbar when it’s available? Or is that wishful thinking? I think I’m...
My update is a pretty salty one, and I’m pretty furious with Teslas piss poor management, lack of communication and overall disfunction with delivery. They would be happy to never update me and hope that I just forget that they’ve said the truck is enroute to me 5 times now. They’ve now stated...
I’d also add on mine I never expected to own it for as long as I did. I only sold it two weeks ago so it was by far the longest car I had ever owned. I say that to say this.. I charged that bad boy up to 90-93% pretty religiously in my first 18 months of ownership settling down to 85% and...
For what it’s worth, my 2017 Model S lost 9% in its first 27k miles and then literally 0% between 27k and 93k, it’s been the exact same ever since.
You basically get the Cybertruck at a discount and go from a Flease to a purchase. There’s nothing bad about this, seems like a giant win given you’re not allowed to buyout the Model Y so you basically win here in every sense of the imagination as you can take delivery of the CT and sell it if...
It’s literally been an available choice for 2 weeks to just *order* much less be widely available for delivery. You should be going into your delivery tomorrow with these questions internally and posting about your experience for everyone else because you’re gonna be one of the very first few.
Not sure about OPs use case but they sell them for a reason.. and reason being some of our users live or traverse mountain areas wherein they are required regardless of 4WD/snow tires being used.
Going from a 65 sidewall to a 50-55 sidewall is most definitely going to be noticeable. How much is gonna vary by driver and the actual tires you purchase with the wheels they sit on and their offset. The poster above decreased their tire circumference overall, and if you’re only driving on city...
By All terrain rims from eBay are you just say you have all season core wheels and are gonna buy second hand the cyber wheels to throw these Nokians on? Wanted to confirm as that was literally the same plan I had for the CT if and when it ever arrives.
