I remember watching the first teardowns and thinking how cool it was to get detailed information from them on how the Model 3 was built and maybe the why's behind things. Now, it's just seems like an advertising platform for them to grow their business and sell the reports. I wish they'd treat...
It will be one of the first things I change if it doesn't swivel. Not a big issue on our 3, but we have stalks. If the screen is how I'll shift (especially backing up while towing) I'll want the screen as close to me as possible so I can quickly change between Drive and Reverse.
edit: I have...
And watching Joe's drone video a few days ago, I think the production line might be getting more solidified in the next 2 weeks. There was lots of equipment staged and it looked like it was for the production line.
Great. I meant in terms of regulations. I don't think you can have the gear selection only operable using the touch screen. It needs a mechanical or manual backup. Hence why the S and X have buttons in case the screen malfunctions.
I think it's a great update. I only hate two things. No stalks and no front camera. Everything else makes me want to trade in my '19. However, those negatives out way all the positives. This will be the first "affordable" stalk-less car. I'm very interested to see if the sale numbers/reviews are...
I used to frequent Reddit and specifically the subreddit r/electricvehicles. The majority of users have very similar takes as this article. It's been very strange watching supposedly huge fans of EVs trash talk this vehicle and even more so Tesla. I get the vehicle, visually, isn't loved by...
When I think about towing, the battery size is all I think about. Reading your post, I really hope this is the size they go with for the trimotor. With your math, I would love to tow my 5000 lb trailer close to 300 miles. I don't go faster than 60mph when I tow and you give me hope that I might...
No worries and no disrespect meant. Most of us here are obsessed with it and have no intention to scalp. We had someone in here before who supposedly had 30.this dude
I'd say you'll know the figure once Tesla announces the price next month or two
Agreed. $75k for a 500 range tri motor makes perfect sense. But still, this is just a rumor and I don't believe it. I won't believe anything until Musk says it or the configurator says it.
It will need to have physical buttons for drive, neutral and reverse as well as hazards as required. The S has them, just slightly hidden. I'm actually quite interested in where they place them in the Cybertruck.
I have conflicting thoughts and feelings about it, if it's true. Great from an advertising point of view, being at all those SC's. But on the other hand, why would they need to do that? Over 2 million pre-orders, do they need to do that? Are they worried about conversion rate? If it's under 50%...
