Excellent review. In my experience in my CT CB, I agree with all your points, especially the tailgating issue at 70 mph. Happened to me this morning and I took it out, pulled back and then passed the slow-moving car and resumed.
I agree with UP_Kirk. In addition, think of FSD as a 15/16 year old kid learning to drive on the road the first time and manage your take-overs accordingly.
Having said that, there are many situations where FSD is actually "better" or "more responsible" than 90% of experienced human drivers...
Traffic circles have been "hit or miss" for FSD in my 2022 YP for years, so be highly vigilant when entering and navigating one. I have found that until recently, it tends to hug the right side of the roadway in the circle, too much for comfort. This has improved as of about two months ago just...
I would say 50% for efficiency reasons and 50% for even wear and tear on the inside of the tire vs. the outside. I've noticed after two sets of tires on my Model YP, 89K miles, mostly highway, they do not wear evenly in the rear if pressure is off by just 3 PSI. The reason I know this is my...
I just added a dark tint, and it helps to some degree. The only issue now is that people think my CT is unoccupied and put their hands up to the windows to peer inside. If an adult has a young person under 15, I have found that 100% of the time, they are super-friendly and just curious...
My recently delivered CT CB was tinted yesterday at a pro shop. I used LLumar IRX 50 on the front windshield and quarter windows, IRX 80 (I think it was called 80) on the front driver and passenger windows, AIR 80 on the rear door windows, and the glass roof.
Today is first day in the sun here...
Does anyone know if an uncovered light bar is a primary or secondary offense in Florida? I read the Statutes and it's not clear. I know for sure it's not criminal unless flashing, or the colors red and or blue are shown.
Very, very few people have driven anything with rear-wheel steering and are completely unaware of what happens when driving a CT at low speeds like when parking. It will take years for these facts to be known by millions of non-CT owners for them to comprehend what we now take for granted. Elon...
In Florida, light bars must remain covered when on public roadways. If you read the Statute it seems that when covered, they cannot produce light which would violate the any section below:

I received the invite for the install, and requested they add the light bar during my October 13th service visit for two minor issues and they said no problem.
MY? Did you mean CT? I just removed them from my CT for the first time, and I have scratches for sure. I plan to use the aero covers on my CT 100% of the time, so it doesn't bother me.
I got a pair of gloves and started by pulling the 11 o'clock slot and the 1 o'clock slot in one firm pull while seated with my legs under the truck; so much of my body weight provided the inertia to get it done in one pull. Keep in mind that I only pulled hard enough to dislodge the two clips...
At least with the all-season tires and covers, there is no way to add air while the aero covers are in place. The issue is you cannot get the valve cover off.
I literally just removed all four of mine ten minutes ago (with a pair of gloves since the edges where you need to place your fingers...
My CT CB with the all season 20" Core Wheels with 35" Tires (not the off road version) included the new wheel covers as shown in your photo above. Value covers are accessible since they position each cover to apparently allow you to check/fill tires. It might require an extension or a flexible...
