How do you tune an AM Radio station?

I agree. I think minimizing the costs to provide a backup communication device is the best way to manage the impending regulation should it come to pass. A quick check shows me tha the cheapest AM radio available is $7.99 As a manufacturer, I'm offering this radio with every car purchase...

What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new Cybertruck owner?

LOL. I'd recommend the opposite. Year and a half and still looking good. Save the money you just spent making the truck look like it already did and put it into a tires account.

How do you tune an AM Radio station?

Well, if enacted, and Tesla has to comply, I wouldn't bet against another "side mirror" setup. Future Tesla vehicle walk around: "Oh, sir. Here's your AM radio. It plugs into that USB-C port and sits in the cupholder. You'll need these wired earbuds. It doesn't have a speaker and is pretty...

How do you tune an AM Radio station?

I understand that and agree. I'm just saying that if everything is reliant on the internet and someone turns that off suddenly, we have no way of finding out what happened unless you drag out an old radio or look for smoke signals, I suppose. Not a fan of maintaining old tech because that's...

How do you tune an AM Radio station?

Listening to AM radio via streaming kind of misses the point of having an actual broadcast of AM radio. If you are out of range of FM, you could switch to AM to get some content. At least, that's how we used AM radio. Saying "AM radio is available via streaming" misses the point. If...

Cheap Gas is ruining EV debate

I had a Maverick. It has a 1.1kwh HV battery. Unless you only roll downhill, you are spending a LOT more time on gas than you realize. I don't doubt the 48-52 mpg because I saw that as well. But, more than a mile or two on electric alone? Very unlikely. Now, if Ford would put say, a 10-20...

Cheap Gas is ruining EV debate

My F-150 got maybe 24 mpg. at $2.79/gal, that's $0.116 per mile. My Cybertruck at 380w/mi and 11.852/Kwh means it costs me $0.0414 per mile. For me, there IS a gas edge for having the Cybertruck. Also, since I put 25,000 miles in per year so far, $1,034 in electricity compared to $2,900 in gas...

    Glass roof tint PPF

The heat level will be identical over enough time. The real question is how fast does it heat up given different tinting. I'd bet ceramic tint heats up a LOT slower. But, at the end of the day, it's just as hot. It's easier on the AC to keep up when tinted though because the rate of increase...

Cheap Gas is ruining EV debate

I've averaged 385W/mile for just over 30k miles so far. That's 2.59 miles/kwh. I don't tow much though. EDIT: Forgot the photo. It's a little blurry but you get the gist. Also, I've averaged 380.3 Wh/mi over the 32,034 miles I've driven. That's 2.62 miles/Kwh.

Cheap Gas is ruining EV debate

I traded in my 2024 Maverick Hybrid (Hot Pepper Red, if you care) for my CB. Like you, I also got around 48mpg. It was a fun truck, and I miss it at times. I don't think my CB is any cheaper to drive than Little Mavy was, but the CB is a whole different level of fun to drive. Funny, but when...

Thinking of canceling my Cyberbeast order (HW5)

That may be. But, since I already own a Cybertruck and will likely not get rid of it, I'd rather it be held in high esteem than be a laughingstock... Historically speaking, of course.

What Cybertruck Accessories Do You Actually Want Next? Let’s Build Something Useful Together

Mine would allow the tonneau to close when it is pivoted down but would be fully above the T-rail when pivoted up so you would be able to load the bed. I thought about it and would make one like this: The red is just the right side of the device. It would support the tire and connect to the...

Texas (Kemah) Police Department is testing Cybertruck as a potential patrol vehicle

It looks marked to me. I was saying they went with a not-full wrap because it's a test vehicle but they DID put markings on it. It's obviously a police vehicle. I must not have been clear enough. My post wasn't clear. Sorry.

Texas (Kemah) Police Department is testing Cybertruck as a potential patrol vehicle

LOL. Good pick. No, someone commented on the lame wrap. I was just saying that it's just a test vehicle and that's why they didn't bother with a nicer wrap. But yeah, Shania Twain. Good pick.

Thinking of canceling my Cyberbeast order (HW5)

For those not realizing you are joking, let's make the comparison more obvious: The Pontiac Aztek Cybertruck was an innovative and versatile vehicle, but with controversial and polarizing styling. The initial concept car was well received, but the Aztek Cybertruck as released proved to be too...

What Cybertruck Accessories Do You Actually Want Next? Let’s Build Something Useful Together

My wife keeps her sunglasses in the glovebox because they rattle if left in the door. So, how about a glasses holder for the passenger door? Maybe something that fits in that little shelf area. I mean, I keep my sunglasses in that location but they don't rattle.

What Cybertruck Accessories Do You Actually Want Next? Let’s Build Something Useful Together

I'll second that. Sort of. I would love to have a tire rack that uses the T-rail. Think a giant letter "I" that connects at each end, all 4. (I'm talking a capital letter "eye" the way you wrote it in elementary school) The tire mounts to the middle. Want to close the tonneau for aero...
