They'll pay more than you pay. If they didn't, nobody would help and they'd be faced with brownouts or equipment damage if the peaker plant doesn't respond to an outage or increase in demand fast enough.
It's cheaper to pay you to utilize your battery capacity than it is for them to either...
So, there you are, you just charged up overnight and are sitting with an 80% battery.
Suddenly, there's a brownout due to a frozen manifold valve at the local natural gas auxilary power plant (tops off for that big nuclear joint down the street that can't be spun up and down all willy nilly)...
Yeah... the rep at Tesla told me my Model Y FSD transfer was completed... It wasn't. We lost FSD. I'd get that in writing and not just in the app because Tesla's answer was "The SC was wrong." Still bitter about it...
Hey, FSD... I was almost all the way home. Just turned off the highway at a light. Driving along, FSD suddenly braked. "Hey, my first phantom braking!". I overrode FSD and started in on the go pedal. Then, the phantom looked me in the eyes. Uncertain of its direction of travel. I stopped...
Edit your card to spell "Brakes" correctly. Other than that, great idea.
LOL. haven't gotten much negativity here. Just two or three middle fingers in a year and a half. When we lived in Papillion, NE, our Model Y was one of three in the area for a bit. Never got anything negative with it...
Had the parts shipped. The fairing and 2 of the bolts because I couldn't be sure they were still there somewhere. Anyway, for a company that prides itself on efficiency, I have some questions...
Two boxes arrived. One with the fairing in it and packaged appropriately. This was the other...
Ken, found this. Thought it might help:

It's got a bunch of sounds recorded that are considered normal.
Where is the Elio when we needed it? 68 mpg and only $7,000... sigh. Would have made for a great commuter vehicle. Only seats 2. But, it was surprisingly roomy.
(at $3.00/gallon, it's only $.04 per mile to drive - cheaper than my CT)
You can report that in the app and request a service appointment. Sometimes, they are Johnny on the spot with simple repairs like that. It could be that they'll recognize the sound. Would probably help if you could safely record the sound.
Tesla made the motors a little louder for the Cybertruck to give it more of a "Truck sound". A little whine is okay but if you get a lot, I recommend crackers and cheese. :)
Okay. I clicked. Figured I wouldn't like it. I was wrong. Catchy for some reason. Neatly done in a consistent style. I'll have to listen to it somewhere I can pump the base a bit. Maybe Fluffy will play it for me later. LOL. Don't know if Fluffy will like playing a song about...
No. We park it in the garage and haven't seen rodents here. We live in a fairly rural part of Maryland on a couple of acres. We have seen raccoons, foxes, squirrels, a pair of skunks, deer, rabbits, and somebody's pet cat. But, no mice.
I was following a white van yesterday morning and noticed my headlight line wobbling up and down. Probably just 2-4 inches on the van and always below their mirrors. Maybe lower than their lights. This is from maybe 50 feet away in traffic and closer though it was less obvious then.
Dumb...
Well crap. Just like when the sports caster says "He has been perfect at this distance this season. Never missed an extra point."... dammit.
Pulling into my driveway, Fluffy cut it a little tight and the back right and "Rocker Fairing - Right Side" became a search in that parts catalog.
$15...
