Finally got around to placing my order. Excited to try it out.
The motivation for me was seeing how many salt stains there are from this past winter. Probably worse this year bc I don’t wash the truck the entire winter. Lol
IMO, the estimates Tesla had for Cybertruck were off because the price of the AWD went from $50k to $80k. Yes, there was inflation from announcement to launch but most people can’t afford an $80k vehicle. The average new vehicle in the US in 2025 was $49k.
Given the $80k (now $70k) starting...
Wow, this is awesome. The insides of my doors look like small rust spots (I know it’s not) and was thinking I gotta clean it. I should place my order soon. 🙂
Watch part of the first video you posted. As an owner of a 2024 AWD (aka Premium AWD), I’ve never had the truck stutter doing a u turn. So I’d ignore that comment he made.
Thanks, this is the review I was waiting for.
I bought Citrisurf77 last year but haven’t used it yet. After reading your comments about it, I don’t even want to try lol.
I washed my truck at the car wash today after not washing it all winter and I have a lot of spots/stains. Gonna order some...
Disable and reenable the setting.
If you row the window down, it disables it too. When you row it back up, it’ll auto redo the calibration (you can see it displaying the calibration status).
Thanks for the review/video!
It looks like this is the same item: https://www.ctmods.com/products/45000mah-adjustable-starlink-mini-mount-with-battery-pack-for-outdoor-camping
I like this better than the other battery wedge device (I’m forgetting the name of it at the moment).
Does anyone have data that shows when to expect it to fail?
I’m wondering is it number of charge sessions, amperage of the session, and duration? I’m guessing it’s not mileage dependent per se, but one would expect higher mileage = more charging sessions thus more “wear” on the PCS before...
Yep, and these lobbyists and laws just create a protected monopoly, which is a joke since the whole point is to prevent monopolies. A sad example of our government and the system.
No, there isn’t. If you lookup how to replace the wiper motor in the service manual, it’ll give you an idea of what they may have not done or did wrong.
It’s a SC appointment, unfortunately.
The wiper should not be visible on the Home position. What you’re seeing is a misaligned wiper motor / wiper. This is exactly what my wiper Home position looked like when I had my wiper motor replaced 1 year ago and the tech didn’t align it correctly.
The result? 2 months later, during a...
This may not be helpful since you already took delivery but when I got mine in Dec 2024, I transferred FSD from my 2020 Y. Before I left, I saw FSD wasn't pushed to my vehicle, so I asked my delivery advisor. He said, hold on...one of the engineering guys is on-site so let me ask him to push the...
Congrats! It's a great feeling...especially, when you're taking delivery!
I took delivery of mine (AWD Premium) in December 2024 and my VIN is 52xxx. So, I see it's increased 40k in a little over a year...assuming VINs are sequential and = number of units produced, we get an idea of how many...
