I get why some people think they want CarPlay but, IMO, once you own and use a Tesla you realize there's no need for CarPlay. The only benefit I can see is using Messages to reply to group texts. I don't miss CarPlay at all.
My guess: the tabs broke off of the cover when they put it back on after doing the front camera windshield cleaning….or they broke the tabs and replaced the cover with intact tabs but didn’t remove the broken tabs.
I thought I was expriencing this when I first got mine (took delivery Dec 2024) but haven't noticed after the first couple of weeks of ownership (2024 AWD, built Nov 2024).
I've bumped my head on it once and that was enough to remind me to be careful lol.
Mine has small black plastic protectors...assume yours do but you wanted a larger one so it's 'softer' if you hit your head on it?
Yes, at 29/30mph+, the wiper shifts 2-3 degrees for aero efficiency. Totally normal.
That said, if the wiper motor is ever replaced, there's a very specific way to reinstall the motor so that the wiper is aligned correctly (check the service manual and you'll see the specific steps). The...

Regarding service appointments for the Cybertruck: I've owned mine since December 2024 and one thing I've noticed is the need for multiple service visits to get the service done right. The first time, I gave them the benefit of doubt since it's a new vehicle....but that is the fundamental issue...
Agree about the stainless panel dent: highly doubt service did this (it'd have to take a major hit to dent it). The panels do have some waves as part of just how the panels are applied. Mine has something similar on the same driver side panel, and I brought it up at delivery but they said it's...
That was my guess too as it started happening shortly after that version number (the one before the 'Tron update' 2025.38.3.1).
What made me schedule the service appt was because one time the 3rd alert was: 'parking brake may not disengage next time vehicle is in Park.' I was driving into the...
