You might want to take a peek under the tonneau trim at the front of the bed (with the tonneau open). Make sure they replaced the clips at the back with the ones with the white plastic release tab. Should look like this:
Nothing in the other holes - I suspect they are there just so they wouldn't have to carry a left-hand and right-hand version of those rails. Same part works on either side that way.
Very easy. Has two handles. I'm not particularly strong (geek, works at a computer all day) but was easily able to move it around.
update: According to my bathroom scale it is 85 pounds. Doesn't seem that heavy - probably because it is so big but the handles make it easy to move.
No. There is a torx bolt that should be installed to hold it in place. The are also a number of other parts that should have been replaced. Probably should go through the installation instructions to make sure everything was done right.
Mine was mostly right. The corners of the cover was...
Set mine up for the first time today. Instructions say the legs will "snap" in place. I never felt any sort of detent. I pulled as hard as I thought was safe without breaking it and the legs still easily folded without any resistance. Anyone else observe this?
My appointment currently says "Parts in Transit". Has said that for a week. Five more days until the appointment. Did yours have the same status? If so, for how long?
The laser-welded the door panels. They can do the same to add reliable mechanical attachment points for the roof rail, too. I'm sure the decision was based on cost which may turn out to be a bad decision if a recall does, indeed, happen.
Anyone able to find the service manual entry for this piece? I've been through all of the exterior trim sections and it is not there.

DId you have to keep the tailgate down on your prior truck? (What was it?) My guess is you did the trick where you put six on the second level - extending over the sides like below (one disadvantage of the CT sloped rails). I have not yet had to get a new load and was wondering how it would...
It is not different than Summon which they enable. The same risks, rules, and liability apply. I think an expanded version of this is a "killer app" which would make all other off road truck jealous. Enhance "Dumb Summon" to include suspension adjustments and independent 4-wwheel steer. Next...
I decided I really didn't like the design of the original lid with the spherical opening. Instead of having a nice fence to keep stuff contained on top, it created a little ramp that would launch anything you had there when you accelerated. So I uploaded a new lid (CTTCLalt) that is more...
Thanks! I guess maybe the service center resolution was correct - fix the owners manual. Odd thing is, the technician showed me the USB module they replaced. It has two connectors - both with over 20 conductors. Seems like a lot just for PD... The only visible feature was the USBC port but...
