How about the Magic Roundabout in Swindon (UK)? The quite a few 'gyratory systems', but I think this is the OG. When you're on it, it's really not too bad at all.
I should have posted earlier, but we have a Halloween sale on-going, ending tomorrow night, use codes SPOOKY20 for orders up to $100, or SPOOKY25 for over $100.
We've added a few more options to our XPel Armor range; if you're lucky enough to have the Terrestrial Kit from Teala, this kit...
What @TWRAPS said. for $6k, they shouldn't be using a generic pre-cut pattern at all, but if they are, they should at least modify it so the corners and panel creases are correctly covered. Where the cant rails meet the fender is always a bit of a challenge, but again, they're not that...
I didn't think it was either, and god knows I'm unimpressed with the FW service center, but it solved the problem for us. Worth a shot. The headliner trim was also loose in ours, it wasn't making any noise, just bugged me that the drivers side was clearly lower than the passenger side when you...
We do/did. The SC 'fixed' it by putting gobs of grease on the closure latches. It did actually seem to help, the other rattle/squeak was coming from the mirror, that was fixed by (re)applying some felt between the mirror and door.
Agreed. Of all the Tesla's we've owned, if we had to chose one, it would be the X. It's quirky and the one we owned leaked like a sieve, but love the auto front doors (and the falcon doors, of course). Wish Tesla would give it a bit more love though, the latest 'refresh' is the lightest of light...
We've got an X Loaner at the moment too, not a Plaid though, but feels pokey compared to our Juniper and truck (and in great condition, compared to just about every other loaner we've had). Speed limited to 85mph though, which is ok most of the time, I s'pose.
Sometimes I install stuff to test, then entirely forget about it. This handle has been attached for maybe 4-5 months, and it's rock solid (and black - most of these suction handles are white because they're designed mostly for bathroom use). Finding a natural position is tricky, I like it where...
...very regularly and liberally, the vault material is oddly absorbent. I have another 'miracle product' to test out that comes highly recommended (from the UK), since I have the spare front wall, my plan is to treat half and just leave it outside for a few months to see how it does.
I came close to crying. Vinyl adhesive is less aggressive than (colored) PPF adhesive, but, I did test with XPel's Black PPF a while ago, and that also came off cleanly, but was only on the truck for a couple of months, so not a like-for-like test.
Good question. I don't have any skin in this game, but for a long time last year I was testing various PPF options. Most the cuts on eBay are generic, from the same standard pattern created on AccCut. It might have improved since I tried them a year+ ago, but still not designed for a typical...
If you're using Waze, and/or streaming, then you'll lose 5-10% of charge every hour. I've more or less weened myself off Waze and just use the Tesla nav, but still miss the cop warnings and the 'creativity' that Waze has. I don't think it's a fixation, but if the manufacturer puts a charger in...
It is just money.
We're a sponsor here and on the Rivian forums (same owning company), so I'm sure rates vary, but yes, it's a paid sponsorship, and the dilution of vendors here (vs. Rivian, which is obviously much more US-centric) is obvious.
I tend to post more as an owner than as a...
Mine came out worse, but I have zero faith another attempt will make anything better, so will re-wrap and (hopefully) mask the worst of it. The OG rails were the best for me, and never looked like they'd fly off.
lol, the neighbor has a Hummer EV; he loves it, but it's not for me.
Honestly don't know. If they honor the usual buy-back terms, will probably just get another one that works better, but there's a lot of stuff on the horizon that I'll need access too as well; the Model Y L, maybe the cheaper...
Yeah, there's a much longer story - TLDR; there's electrical issues.
The truck was booked in for charging errors (it still charged, but would error with a 'check equipment' every time, tested on 3 HPWC's), but the morning I was due to take it in, the center screen wouldn't light up, and the...
Here you go. It is the new cant rails with the fixing stud (not particularly visible unless you're looking for it), and, as always this is a 'within spec' installation. It's due a re-wrap, so hopefully won't look as bad once everything matches.
Anyone else seeing this issue? Just got the truck back from the SC for being bricked (full charge, but no drive), and immediately started getting these errors. I've tried a reboot via scroll wheels, but the issue persists. Obviously, the battery has a high state of charge, and the mode isn't...
They've just replaced mine again, will report back tomorrow when I go pick it up. So far, nothing is ever better after a visit to the SC for trim replacement, so I have low expectations, although the first replacement was well aligned, it was the sail and tailgate trims they f'd up.
