Given that the CT was much harder to make than they anticipated AND itās going to take them years to fully ramp to 200,000 a year to fulfill at least 1 million preorders AND the different safety requirements across multiple European countries, I donāt think the CyberTruck is going to be...
Man, nothing in Ohio yet. We have a showroom in Columbus at Easton Town Center and thereās a repair center around the corner from me (doubt they would have one there).
I donāt think Elon wanted the BAW, but I guess they couldnāt come up with any better solution. The wiper fluid comes out of the wiper itself, like other Teslas. Iām sure it will be heated as well. Even just those features make it seem like a superior wiper to me.
I brought up the Cybertruck at Thanksgiving and many people didnāt even know what it was. Now my brother-in-law is interested in one. Tesla really needs to advertise, if just to show people how affordable EVs can be. Many people I know think that Tesla is just a luxury car brand and your average...
Iāve read that before. Itās super cool tech, but a 500-mile Tesla Semi costs $180,000. The CT is supposedly under $80K. I donāt think itās going to be that complicated in order to keep production costs down. Thatās probably one of the reasons theyāve scrapped the tailgate ramp as well.
Of...
Haha. Thank you to all of my fans and CyberTruck Owners Club for suggesting articles from 3+ years ago at the bottom on my page. Itās fun to look back and see how everything has changed. ?
Or another wiper attached at the top on the passenger side that moves in tandem with the lower one. Theyāre staggered slightly and they both sweep down at about the same time (passenger-side trailing the driver-side). Both could be stored vertically to reduce drag.
Yep, definitely sacrificing ingress/egress for aero. If the range holds up for such a heavy vehicle (7,000ish lbs?) then it will be worth it. Iām thinking it will match the Model X at 348.
Notice it says āshatter-resistant glassā, not shatterproof. It looks double-paned with a laminate in between (in other photos). Probably something similar to the acoustic glass used in other models.
Correction:
Cybertruck
Max payload: 2,500 lbs
Max tow rating: 11,000 lbs
Would that make it a light-duty vehicle? Whatever the equivalency of a Ford F-150 is.
Well that was short lived. Scalpers gotta scalp, I guess? I would have limited two CTs per person and you have to have a credit check run. Iāve heard of some people reserving 20+ CTs!
Wouldnāt that negate the whole concept of it being leakproof? Again, I donāt think Tesla wants you carrying live bodies in the back with the tonneau cover down and the tailgate closed. Itās a storage vault, not a Japanese micro hotel.
