Anyone ready to give up their Cybertruck?

I was out of town for a week and the phantom drain was 8.25 miles/day. I pay 32 cents per kWh to charge it. If I did my math right, that is about $500/year to sit in my garage. I'm sure they will get that down. My Model 3 is 0.7 miles/day or $42/day. The software version was 2024.14.7.

Realistic % of Cybertrucks that have had QC issues?

Any publisher gets more clicks if their story is like OMG this is a problem as opposed to OMG everything is fine. I’ve had my CT in for a couple of issues, but they get fixed and everything is fine. I get a Y or an X loaner. I’m happy with it. I do have to say I was planning a couple of...

FSD 12.5 Debut Expected Late June for Cybertruck!

Our Model 3 has 2024.3.25 with FSD (supervised) v12.3.6 installed. Today I gave it a try and the GPS was planning to turn left at an intersection, but the car did not get into the left turn lane and went straight. Then another time where there are two lanes going to one lane with several...

Truck Delivered With Service Issues - Hold on Sale

No matter how much you put down, $700/month is the interest on a $110k purchase. If I understand correctly, you have paid for the vehicle, but no vehicle is available for you, that sucks! Tesla should not have asked for the check, and you should not have given them the check, if they did not...

    Cold Feet and ICE

I found my M3 and CT to be far superior to an ICE vehicle in many ways. The acceleration is just amazing. When I get into an ICE vehicle, it is the sad sound of the engine laboring as it goes through the gears sound so old fashioned. With the Tesla, it is just pure acceleration. Suddenly the...

    Frunk Lid Adjustment - How?

Tesla service replaced my frunk hood a couple of weeks ago and it was not set to the correct height on one side. One side was higher than the other. I have a service appointment Tuesday to align it correctly.

    Cybertruck Delivered with Center Caps

I got these on Amazon just as a filler until I get my Tesla hub caps. Plain and simple, with a little splash of red flair. I'm not driving around town with my axels and nuts showing.....

Install of Powershare Home Backup hardware

Search for Tesla approved electricians in your area. Get quotes from the companies you want to deal with from the list and choose the quote you prefer. Send them the money and they will install it. That all sounds reasonable, but I have yet to get a quote back. Electricians must be slammed...

Kids are fascinated with the CT

I agree, the kids really love it. It made my day when a young woman in a wheelchair was so excited to see it. She said, "I like it, I like it!". Like the move said.... Son, the future is in (plastics) the Cybertruck! Recall the 1967 Dustin Hoffman move, "The Graduate".

I just got this notice in my app. Scared to review and sign. Lol. Anyone else???

    Your VIN - My VIN / Days says 140 CT/Day, 980/week, 51,000/year from March 11.

"General E" Cybertruck in wrap inspired by Dukes of Hazzard General Lee (Teckwrap Wild Orange Wrap)

The wrap is great but can't believe you don't have your axels and nuts covered yet!

    Poll on Non-FS CT

I don’t care about when the non-FS CT becomes available. I have my FSCT and am happy. I do believe you are going to be dissappointed if you are waiting for a non-FS CT. I think you will be waiting longer than you want to and it will cost too much when you finally have an opportunity to buy...

    Cybertruck rear bumper replacement cost?

Sorry to see this. This kind of thing makes me drive super cautious. I’m still not totally comfortable when making a right tun into traffic. I find it very difficult to park properly aligned in some parking spots. My son’s Denali shows amazing overhead graphics with bumper lines showing...

Powershare Gateway Install Experience and Explainer

This is very good, thank you. Not exactly on-topic but want to get the word out there with the elimination of the referral program this summer, Tesla has allowed a user to select a Wall Charger and have it sent directly to you. In years past this was possible, but earlier this year you had to...

Cyberbeast Gets Premium Platinum Throttle Pedal Rivet

When they put the screw in my pedal, the screwdriver slipped and put a big gash in the pedal next to the screw. I saw it right away and tried to ignore it, but after the conversation with the repair consultant, I said something like “I tried to ignore it, but I’m going to need a new pedal”. He...

Cybertruck loses Motortrend comparo to Rivian and Hummer

I’ve always been one to turn and look before changing lanes. Some driver instructors want you to adjust your mirrors to allow you to see around a blind spot without turning your head. With the M3 and the CT, you have to use the sensors provided to change lanes. With FSD in the M3, the...

    Tesla Rehiring Some Supercharger Employees

    Touchy feely people

I had a 1965 Cobra, and no one ever touched it, yet people do reach out and touch the CT. It’s like they want to know, is it real? Pretty strange!

    Phantom braking with cruise control

I have not experienced significant phantom braking on my CT. I was on a 400 mile road trip up I5 with only minor slowdown issues. A full stop phantom brake is very annoying and a safety issue. I would press the bug report when it happens and follow up with a service appointment. You can...
