    Help understanding solar/powerwall 3/powershare

I thought I wanted a PW to complement my future PowerShare system and existing solar until the cost of the PW was crazy. $9k to buy PW and another $8k to install. For that cost, I can plan to have my CT charged and ready to supply electricity as needed. This process of installing the...

Has anyone received wheel covers yet?

We don't need no stinking wheel covers! (Just trying to be funny! It is actually quite sad.)

Red Screen Of Death! Service Needed 😢

Why do you think ā€œlike all the other vehicle manufactures and have no issuesā€? FYI, it is more accurate to say ā€œall manufacturers have recallsā€. Your other statement ā€œClearley every CT is breaking down and brickingā€ is also totally inaccurate. Do you live in another world? I have a CT and...

    Apple shortcuts / automations

The CT ā€œdashboardā€ display has an option to start charging based on your calendar schedule or at a specific time. I typically start charging at midnight. Go to the charge section on the CT display. You do not need to use an Apple shortcut app to do this. You can adjust the ending total...

FSD coming by end of this month (confirms Tesla Cybertruck engineer)! šŸ¤ž

You guys seem to misunderstand what FSD means to Tesla. It is not a "sit back and read the paper" while your vehicle is driving you along. No, it won't go pick up your kids at school and bring them home safely. It is decent system that drives the car/CT OK most of the time. It is really at...

Tesla is upgrading the Cybertruck’s electric motor on some Cybertrucks

I realized Tesla is upgrading the motors in the FS CTs and will install the old motors in the non-FS CT! What else could it be? Genius! It is just hard to beat the FS CT. I think you FS CT owners all agree on that!

Tesla is upgrading the Cybertruck’s electric motor on some Cybertrucks

The AWD CT has two different motors silly. An induction motor on the front axle and a permanent magnet motor on the rear axle.

My roller ball does not get me close enough. Maybe the distance calculation needs adjustment.

First 9 Miles Driving Home From Dealer: Regrets? First Impressions: Things I Dislike, Not Sure What To Like.

I’ve had my FSCT for 3.5 months and generally love that is an EV and that it is a Tesla. As you see, my other car is a 6 year old M3. The CT one-pedal driving is different than it is on my M3. The M3 has a little more ā€œcoastā€ when stopping. The CT stops/starts too abruptly making it a little...

Road Trip! Leaving from San Diego for Great Falls MT. Ask me anything...

How fast did you go and what was your Wh/mi? I found the TACC to not follow close enough to the vehicle ahead causing others to pass and pull in front of me. Did you find similar?

    RN11498, ORDERED!

I ordered the FSCT in December because I decided they would offer the FS to all the reservations before producing the standard CT and I didn’t want to wait. I got that right, but I’m a little surprised, (OK, shocked) at how quickly Tesla ran through the orders! Since we are talking about...

Anyone have probs with Gen 2 80amp charger (thick cable, non wifi)?

I've only charged my CT once using our Gen 2 wall charger. It was set for 48 Amps and charged at a rate of 27 MPH. Everything worked as expected. It has worked flawlessly for our Model 3. The Model 3 gets 45 MPH at 48 Amps. The difference in MPH charge rate is expected since the vehicles...

    Cybertruck needs back up warnings

I think it is fair to expect my CT to have backup alarms given my 6 year old Tesla Model 3 has back up alarms. Yes, my CT is better with OTA updates and it will continue to get better. BUTT, the OTA so far are only making the CT what I have already paid for. I need OTA updates for FSD, which...

Universal Wall Charger installation - does it require "Tesla approved" electricians?

I had a Tesla approved electrician at the house for the PowerShare install. He was ā€œapprovedā€ but not ā€œcertified to install PowerShareā€, or some other Tesla category for electricians. He called the Tesla rep while I was listing in. The rep explained if I installed a PowerWall and a Universal...

    What's your lifetime Wh/mi?

Wow, lotta low numbers here. I’m at 386 Wh/mi and 2,216 miles and I thought I drove like grandma. I have one 800 mile road trip in there doing about 75 MPH. The rest is up and down my town. I say up and down because I live at the top of a hill, about 500’ elevation from town. I can actually...

    Cybertruck FSD wishful thinking.

You guys seem to be missing my issue with FSD. It does not work today on my Model 3. Give the CT FSD and it still doesn't work the way FSD "should" work. Yeah, it works most of the time, but certainly not all the time. Since in my own mind, I'm smarter than Elon, and so I believe Tesla will...

    Cybertruck needs back up warnings

I was referring to my ex, a 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat Super Crew. Complete with rear proximity alarms and a small video display on the rear-view mirror. It is just unimaginable a $100k truck with over-the-top technology with zero direct rear visibility has no rear proximity alarm. Of course, no...
