Logical!
Have not checked, do they already have it in their plans for these tunnels? Tho I don't think there is none of Tesla units that are inductive charging capable.
Thanks! Hope it will not fall on deaf ears -- even if Elon appears distracted, lol.
It actually got worst with the update. I used to just clip that island.
But in my last outing, it hit the good portion of it, jarred the CT and jumped over it.
The cars I almost hit if I did not intervened...
Read sometime ago that the aim is to embed induction charging along our roads.
That's my dream!
California had an experiment where they did it with magnets but more for self-driving keeping vehicles within their respective lanes.
With hitting the islands (lost mud flaps) and 2 near collisions on sharp turn lefts, I now disengage FSD on these maneuvers.
Reported these both on voice command and email to [email protected] before the latest update and it was not corrected. ?
The question is how far will Tesla invest in the infrastructure to build the induction charger which I assume will be embedded on or along the road. And if it's just in major cities, will be ring fence the Robotaxi just like Waymo (for the moment although they are claiming it's just the...
Robotaxi, no plug
With summons, unsupervised FSD and roads all wired for inductive charging, you can technically fly to NY and command your CT to drive from San Francisco for your use in the state.
True, handles straightaway freeways and highways well. Better lane keeping than me where I tend to veer right.
I can't understand though why it's happening. The screen shows and it is supposed to be seeing those solid lines and yet it keeps on straddling and crossing it to cut corners and...
Drove 180 miles on new update.
It got worst on left turns. 3 interventions, twice almost hitting the car one lady got scared shitless with mouth and eyes wide open.
Previously, it only clip the island, same island and it jumped over it. I already smashed my mud flap in previous incidents...
I used the [email protected] to report these but it seems, from the posts here that it's not been corrected or addressed. ? ?
I won't recommended the voice command button which may further distract you and put you in more sticky wicket situation than what you tried to avoid.
With my Tesla stocks tanking again, I can almost scream the Nike slogan:
Just do it! (and not keep on promising and missing deadlines after self-declared time tables).
I reported these with my two front mud flaps already gone.
This is a dangerous maneuver and had hoped ro have been resolved with the latest update.
Apparently not and my reports fell into deaf ears.
Between these industry analyst and other pretenders to analysis, I'll take the former anytime. One of the two who spoke was there since the birth of Tesla and for years was bullish on the stock.
BTW, my son worked for Tesla and left for the same reasons on why the company have high turnover at...
Long suffering Tesla stuckedholder here. Fact, it's my biggest holding.
Hope against hope with Robotaxi but it seems the investing community is not impressed.
Down 7.73% as I'm staring on my chart.
Analysts also appear incredulous about Elon over-promising for the nth time. Nothing political...
Lost already my two front left and right mud guards on these too tight a turn.
What's scary is that it crosses and encroaches on solid yellow and white lines of the other incoming lanes.
Kept to speed limits as my driving practice since it became a baby on board transporter.
And the RV profile is sloping and more aero than thr frontal brick of the OP (no offense meant).
I now have to plan RV camping on 33% range for contingency until Tesla releases range extender. Have done...
Happy that you got better range.
Mine had only 30% going up Lake Tahoe via I-80.
A 100% charge on 84 miles left me with very little charge remaining. And my rig is only 4,200 lbs.
