Losing my front mud flaps jumping the islands on left turns. Twice nearly head-on since it's taking the incoming lanes. And the other day, almost hit the concrete barrier while veering way to the left crossing (not just straddling) the yellow line while overtaking a semi.

Tire chains can be a wiser alternative. And you might even be needing them except for the peace of mind.

I understand, but the Google system in Waymo has employs a Lidar and radar and my son, not on Google nor Waymo but in government says it's now penetrating radar that can distinguish a mound of white stuff to be concrete or bank of snow and the deep of water in a swimming pool.

That surprised me. Because on the screen, it showing it's straddling on those solid yellow line and just now, it turned left that cuts on the opposing lanes. It's good there are no oncoming vehicles and that's a semi heavy highway. :eek:
