Hopefully someone from Hansshow reads these forums. Perhaps having people like me hold off on buying their products may incentivize them to fix the problem? I want the mirror after having been mirror less for a couple of years, but not at the cost of losing speakers. Nor do I want to put on...
Sorry to derail the discussion. Tesla service had my truck for almost a week and could not find the source. I decided to remove the sail appliques that covers the roof rack mounts. I found the cable that goes to the light bar to be laying loose, and secured it around the bolt, as I don't need it...
Will do. Does the sound sound like something is slapping against the roof, like a loose strap? In my case or only happens after I park it outside, then drive at highway speeds..it lasts for a minutes, then goes away.
Grok suggestes bad seals around the roof panel..
Data point. FS series Feb 24 delivery with 30k. Scheduled a service due to vibrations/ flapping sounds coming from the roof. They automatically added PCSgen2 to the order. That morning the truck would only AC charge at 24 Amps. Like it knew something was wrong 😆.
Had a guy begging in the median with a sign saying "anything helps" scream at me, ended his rant with "at least I got hair." Lol I was wearing a baseball cap and smiled the entire time. Stay classy.
Speed-induced drag is the real range killer. After more than 3,000 miles of towing this trailer at over 6,000 lbs, we yielded about 750kwh per mile. Most of those miles were spent at 55-60 mph -even in Utah. I was considering an Airstream, but don't think the result will be much different.
$20 to $40 tip to the guys at Discount Tire every 6-10,000 miles just gives me peace of mind that my tires are wearing evenly. AWD 30,000 miles so far.
Good idea. Yesterday I was picking up something at a local Best Buy, and the truck did awesome navigating around the obligatory Chick-fil-A, etc. Then it had the choice of A) handicap parking, B) Curbside pickup designated spot, or C) open spots 20 feet away. It must have realized how lazy I...
I would be surprised if you would notice any difference at all. Never had a blowout on the CT but did blow a tire on a 6000 lbs trailer. The CT did awesome. No steering problems at all.
Exactly. My wife refuses to drive the same
car as everyone else and alas refuses to buy a Tesla. When her Audi Sportback Etron lease is up she'll probably get the R2. I almost pulled the trigger on the R1T in the end of 2023 when I didn't know when my CT would be delivered.
Besides, CEOs...
This is so annoying. We use a aussie style offroad camper with more clearance than the CT, with independent suspension but can't really benefit since the truck won't let us.
