I have a 2014 Ford Focus SE hatchback that runs on FlexFuel (E85). I've spent about $3K on performance upgrades, and I doubt I would get much for it if I tried to sell it. Might just keep both for a while, as the Focus is super fun to drive.

Seems like you got something against 4x4. LOL! What you are describing is your personal preference. There are plenty of folks that want or need 4x4 for whatever reason, for camping, recreational off roading, working in remote locations, lots of snow driving, etc. Or they want that capability...

Concur. He may push his employees hard, but they have a choice to work there or not. Most people that work at Tesla and SpaceX are in some part there for the vision, and to be part of something revolutionary and larger than themselves. And don't be so sure about the Emperor of Mars thing... ;)
