I tried the Foronetry shade, which was like trying to put 2 surfboards in and out of the dash. I tried this West-x--- version which sagged and felt like trying to get a blanket to stand up.
Finally, I went old school and bought the largest round wire version I could find. It's still not...
My bet (which is meaningless) is that they will have modular built units like this in the near future and fill in where diners can be a profit center with the supercharging. They are modularizing the superchargers now, and also astonishingly going off grid with the installs. Imagine a...
Just FYI, on the M3 and MY forums, lots of weird issues were happening when USB hubs were used in the glovebox senty outlet. So many, and so varied, that I decided to segregate that to only the recording device directly. In my truck, it's only for the OEM usb stick.
Yeah, it bites, but discretion is the better part of valor. You'll make that money back in the free Supercharging on the family roadtrips in no time. And in less stress enjoyment.
In my view, this is a fleet/robodelivery vehicle. I have some view into what is called "the last mile" challenges for small constant deliveries. Now, it's LTL, or box trucks/vans that weave through our world that get the "stuff" to where the "stuff" needs to go.
Every business or domicile...
Pickles is one lucky pup to have a great family and great truck to see the world. Please give me more info on this:
I love the Sun, but Shade is a wonderful thing also.
I have an FJ40, 1976, 2F, original paint. This museum is insane with all the generations of the LC. Tons of Australian and Japanese rare ones. I had been intending to go there for at least the last 10 years and so glad I did. It's owned by the Larry Miller dealership family, who truly...
Definitely Boondocking. Your frunk chuckbox is a thing of beauty. I can see the pride that went into that design build.
*not gonna lie, I'm formulating a "temu" version of that in my head right now. I have a old Boy Scout chuckbox setup I picked up cheap somewhere that I thought I could...
I think I decided on the Iceco JP30 for the back seat for roadtrips. Now I am waiting for the July 4th sales email or Amazon Prime Day deals to hit.
We had a bit of trouble on our roadtrip because the in room fridge on one of our stops was stuck in defrost mode, the in room ice maker was...
Yes, we did mostly FSD and it was like watching a movie being able to enjoy the scenery (as allowed by driver monitoring haha). I picked music to complement the canyonlands and deserts. We cannonballed the drive home (670 miles) on FSD (+12 hours) and we were not exhausted at all rolling in...
I just did 1850 miles in UT-AZ. I spent $286.42 in Supercharging roundtrip. (This does not include the 100% at home charge on the first leg, just out of pocket SC costs, 14 stops according to my history). If we had taken our 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, it would have been ~$330 ish in fuel, using...
