WORKS IN THE MORNING? I noticed that the driver door was more likely to work in the morning and less likely to work in the late afternoon. The only reasonable explanation I can come up with is ambient temperatures are lower in the morning and higher in the afternoon. Has anyone else seen this?

I suspect the driver door switch problem is a hardware issue. This switch gets used much more than the other doors. I believe they replaced the switch, but I won't know until I get my truck back from the service center. They are currently working on an intermittent passive restraint alert...

Same for Jacksonville and likely every other Tesla service center. It extended the time they have my CT in for service due to less techs. It'll also extend how long it takes to get an appointment for service. All very frustrating and unnecessary!

There are several other issues with the CT, including a intermittent "Safety restraint system fault - Service is required" alert. Hopefully they can fix everything in a day. If not, I'll have to go back to the service center to get the spare tire that I ordered two weeks ago but hasn't shipped...

I called the service center and they scheduled an appointment ten days out. The down side is that it's a six hour drive, round trip, to get to the nearest service center. A service center is under construction in Tallahassee. Hoping it might open before the end of this year.

Thanks! Your suggestion helps explain why I can easily open the door first thing in the morning when it's cool. It progressively gets harder to get the switch to open the door as ambient temp rises, until later in the day when the door switch won't work at all.
