My VIN is 9XXX, so I am a pretty early Beast. Maybe they've gotten more quiet, I have only been in my Beast. It is significantly louder than any other EV I have ever been inside. So maybe that answers the 2024 vs 2025 question from the OP.
Is this confirmed? I wonder if they will charge for the improved part, like with the wireless charger.
My parents paid $800 for their Santa Cruz cover and drove through a monsoon without a drop of water in the bed. I wonder if T-Sportline or another third party will ever produce a working...
There is a video Tesla posted on YouTube a few weeks ago saying how CT is the perfect family travel vehicle. It showed all the family's suitcases in the vault. I laughed, because my first trip in my truck was horribly sidetracked when we drove through a pouring rain and my family's luggage was...
Good call on the sound. The Beast is the loudest EV I have ever been in, and I don't think anything else is even close to it. Some people miss the vroom vroom noises, the Beast helps to bring back the audio aspect of driving. Other people hate the noise and don't want to go back.
Is the noise...
But it is all cost benefit. 2x-3x a small number is still a small number. And when the original number also shrinks because the new model eats into its sales, is it worth it?
How much will it cost to make a CyberSUV, even if 70% of the work is already done because the CT platform? What is...
I had a brand new off the lot vehicle hit less than one day after ownership. Was hit hard in my parking lot while I was asleep, guy drove off and was never found. Took over a month to fix, they slowly had to pull the frame back in place since it was bent.
The reason I tell the story is it was...
A vehicle without the stainless exterior and air bending could be cool, but it wouldn't be a CyberSUV in my eyes. It would be something like a hybrid of the X and CT. Which probably would be more acceptable to investors and the pitchfork wielding public anyway.
Tesla already said they weren't making a CyberSUV, so why do people keep thinking they are making a CyberSUV?
I suppose they have lied in the past, but I tend to believe them when they say they aren't expanding on a low volume platform.
I appreciate your view on the truck. Wait until they let you test drive it, then you may go from rekindled interest to order.
As an aside, younger me spent some time in Helsinki and I will say Milliklubi was a blast. Now I'm old, I will need to visit Helsinki retirement homes when I hopefully...
I imagine one extra motor and a little bit of premium fabric is a lot less expensive than $20k. There's little chance the Beast isn't the highest margin of the CTs.
However, because the Beast is $20k more, I assume most people aren't buying the upgrade. Which in turn meant Tesla made more AWD...
The Model X, more than any other vehicle in the lineup, could use a refresh or a replacement. I think a CyberSUV is a bad idea, the CT's look flopped in sales. There are just enough outsiders who want a weird vehicle to keep the CT afloat for Tesla. There isn't enough to keep two of these...
I started a second side job and had more money rolling in from it. However my second side hustle was paying me about 1/3 of what my career paid me. I stopped after a year. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, evaluating the value of your time is a key life skill.
Regarding the FSCB...
I just think it is funny the official line is "the improved part has no benefit."
Unless the grooves mean less metal and it is a cost saving benefit, why else would they make a new part?
I asked about the wireless charger repair at my local Tesla service station. They responded by reading an official notice from Tesla that said the new part has no charging benefit. They said they would change it at my cost if I wanted, but basically hinted they'd be mad at the hassle of doing...
There may be a heat difference with tint, I feel bad for those in climates where tint becomes necessary for this purpose. Because visually, tint is what a 17 year old does to make his Honda Civic look cool in the school parking lot.
The amount of hate I get has died down in Western NY. Far fewer middle fingers, but still get them here and there.
The issue is the people who haven't let go of the CT hate, REALLY hate the CT. So if I went from 5 middle fingers per drive to 2 middle fingers per week, I also have 1 or 2 extra...
Was it me? I've given up on cleaning the bugs off the front of the CT. One drive and it is completely covered. The one car wash that fits the CT well near me doesn't get them off, and scrubbing every day is time I can spend better elsewhere.
It is funny that this thread is complaining about...
The "joke" in the Sunny episode is that the characters, who are supposed to be degenerates, love the Cybertruck. There's not much more to it than that, but it is basically the main character for the episode.
