Sorry to hear that your experiencing screen crashes and worse yet, leaking screen! We have enabled the “Cabin Overheat Protection” feature and also use sun shades whenever it’s parked for a while In both of our Teslas. The sun is brutal to car interiors.

We have a M3 for over 2 years now. Zero issues with the center console ever crashing. We also just picked up a MY and have had it for over a month and no issues there so far.

If the AWS increases the price, I would hope it is offered as a option as more moving parts equals more things to wear out or go wrong. I want my CT to be as durable as possible and I will stick with the Tri-motor option. ~1000 HP is more than adequate for me.

It also appears that the center screen is pannable left and right in the picture with the driver and masked passenger shot.

I just read a update from Elon that the “no door handles” may be operated by facial recognition. I just hope he includes “car wash mode” and/or just be able to temporarily disable facial recognition so that the doors don’t keep popping open when I am cleaning/washing my CT!

I just checked my reservation and it still has the FSD option in there. I’m still debating whether I really need it since I don’t really plan to do a lot of long distance traveling with my CT. I ordered the FSD when it was at $7k and the fact that this feature is only good for the original...

I will use my CT on the weekends so it will get free charging during the week as it will be parked outside all the time. Even if it gets about 20 miles per hour charge, it is more than adequate for my driving needs. I certainly can do without the glass roof for this option!

I would like to see a Stainless Steel roof with solar option on there and the Frunk lid which would be more practical and less prone to wear and damage.

I’m getting this solar option even though it may not put out what they estimate it to be as self charging while parked outside is always a plus!
