Not that I'm trading but just curious if anyone has looked into it. I got the email from Tesla about the window for transferring closing, but wonder if Foundation Series is even eligible, or if it will forever live with the truck.
Has anyone tried this?
Well I happen to not be familiar with any of those things :LOL:
This would be for emergency purposes and whole house would not be necessary. Just would need well pump (which is 240 and the main reason for wanting to utilize the 14-50 outlet), propane forced air furnace, and maybe some...
Maybe you can answer a question for me since you've obviously thought about this more than most.
All of the setups I have seen using the Cybertruck's 14-50 outlet immediately step it down to 30 amp. Is there a reason for this? Is it just because 30 amp is more common in the RV and generator...
Crazy that it took that long.
Looks like maybe they updated the design for all of them and the Cybertruck is now the default? 250 max kinda sucks, but no biggie.
I tried this for the first time last night. "Stop at XYZ carry-out on the way home" type instructions worked perfectly.
"Don't take the next right on Elm, go up to Market instead" resulted in Grok assuring me that it would follow my instructions and update my path, but the truck still took the...
Ridiculous discussion. Doug has not shown a bias against tesla or elon. He's also not political, but I've read through the lines and suspect he has many moderate conservative views and keeps it quiet.
The H2 comparison is apt. I dont know of any other vehicle that went as quickly from a status...
Obviously this is silly and will never be considered, but I'll play along too.
I think the biggest safety issue would be diffusion of responsibility. Who's driving? The truck? The driver? The passenger? All of a sudden paying attention to the road becomes no one's problem.
I can't understand why it gets the speed limit so wrong. I flat do not believe it reads speed limit signs with the cameras. Every other nav app I've ever used gets this right, Tesla gets it wrong. It's so frustrating because other than that FSD is so good!
It strikes me that being a good "supervisor" depends on consistency from the vehicle. Knowing what to expect, what it's good at, where it's weak. This constant changing makes it less safe. Updates are one of the things I love about Tesla, but also something I've kinda grown to hate.
Pardon the confusion, but are you folks going from 13 directly to 14.2.0? Or did you all already have 14.1.7?
I've had 14.1.7 and the release notes for 14.2 look identical to me...
