Foundation series FSD transferable?

Not that I'm trading but just curious if anyone has looked into it. I got the email from Tesla about the window for transferring closing, but wonder if Foundation Series is even eligible, or if it will forever live with the truck.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this offer, you must:

• Have your new Tesla vehicle delivered on or after April 24, 2025, but before the program ends;
• Be the legal owner and registrant of the current vehicle with Full Self-Driving (Supervised) purchased outright until Tesla can remove the FSD (Supervised) from the vehicle (about 48 hours after delivery of your new vehicle);
• Have the current vehicle and the new vehicle on the same Tesla Account; and
• Agree to all additional terms and conditions prior to delivery of the new vehicle

Note: The Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Transfer Program is subject to change or end at any time and cannot be applied retroactively. FSD (Supervised) cannot be transferred from a Foundation Series Cybertruck, Model Y Launch Series or a vehicle under an active lease. Used vehicle, business and commercial orders are not eligible. The transferring vehicle cannot be the subject of a pending cancellation or buyback request or have any delinquent liens or balances. Additional terms and conditions apply and will be provided prior to delivery.

Last September, I traded in my CT Foundation Series, and FSD was transferred to my new Tesla. At that time, everything went smoothly—Tesla sent me an FSD transfer form to fill out and sign, and the transfer was completed without any issues when I picked up the new vehicle. Very interesting. So I guess you could pick up a used Foundation series and not get FSD. That would suck.

i have ordered a new cybertruck and was told my FSD will transfer from my FS cybertruck to the new one when i trade it in i am being told i wont get the new AWD until feb6 through march 15

Same. I have a new one on order. Tesla has told me the same thing. Of course, we all know that their reps don't always have a clue.

I'm in the process of buying a the premium AWD CT, and should take delivery in the next couple of weeks (Ordered at the start of Feb). Every rep I've spoken with has assured me my FSD will transfer from Foundation AWD.

Hi, as of today! I still have FSD and premium connectivity on my used foundation series that was purchased 2 days ago. Fingers crossed but so far so good.

I find it unlikely you'll be able to take delivery before 3/31. I'm also in TX and ordered Premium AWD on 2/13/26, no VIN yet.

Hi, I did not buy it from Tesla, I bought it off a private dealership. I found that the dealership buy Tesla used vehicles from auction.

How can they charge you for fsd and not let you sell it with the vehicle,seems illegal
