yes and no. my cooled seats don’t really cool, just make a lot of noise. not much difference with the covers on or off. heating works the same.
I will note they add a little extra cushioning which is nice.

I picked up my FS AWD in June 2024 and slapped on the first magnet a few weeks later. I've now got four magnets on the tailgate, all applied at different times, and outside of cleaning every few months they don't get removed. That means making it through downpours, snow, ice, salted roads...
Not sure why they did not add cooling vents for Cybertruck, 2024 Model 3 or 2026 Model Y. My 2021 Model S had a cooling vent directly above the charging pad and my phones never got hot. Worked like a charm.
