Maybe Cybercab could have Pizza Pan or Saucer Wheels. We had Cyber Wheels first and as the first Cyber vehicle should reclaim our birthright!
I’m going to put in a service request to have this corrected at my next visit. They can take their Mantle Wheels. Cyber Wheels for life!
Checking if I got the latest software (no) only to discover that my 20” Cyber wheels are now known as Mantle wheels, maybe Tesla mobile service broke into my garage and stole my wheels and updated my app?
there is a firmware update rolling out to all CT to permit DCFC even if the PCS fails. Without the update you may not be able to DCFC when the PCS fails.
VIN 12xxx and no failure or firmware update yet. have a 500+ mile trip coming up to move one of our boys out of college, CT is on duty...
Second update: second service advisor who was signing me out said PCS is backordered but, get this, they would create a new service appointment for me so I can proactively get the PCS done as soon as parts become available. She said they have quite a few Cybertrucks around the lot waiting on...
LOL, using PPF - which is prone to rips and tears - to protect the nearly impervious stainless steel is comedic. If you want to change the color, so be it, but a wrap of any kind provides no protection as it's now the weakest layer and it's exposed to the elements.
I've had my Cybertruck for...
Since the conversation around the Signature Series Model S and X Plaid has come up here on the forum, and since I was fortunate enough to get some time with this 2026 Tesla Model S Plaid, I thought I'd share it from the perspective of a CT owner and former Model S Plaid owner.
Long and short...
S is still available, at least in NJ. Still have a half-dozen left. The last time when Tesla ran down to 2-3 they released another batch of S and X's. I think they're dribbling them out for some reason. Maybe until the sig series get produced and delivered.
My update: no failure (yet) but had tried to add this as a concern to a service appointment I booked last month for a drop-off today. Yes, it takes a month to get an appointment near me.
I spoke with one tech at length and he says that while they have quite a few trucks in for PCS issues, and...
You figure 90-95% are going to pass, if not more. It's spendy and I bet a decent number of those folks plunked down $50K deposits years ago for the Roadster which will be revealed imminently.
I'll wait until someone trades one in on a CyberSUV or Roadster 2030 and get it for half off. oh. Maybe have to wait another few years beyond that until it halves a second time ;-)
I suspect, but have no way of knowing, Tesla would really only be looking at the last couple years so likely the 2018 and 2020 purchases won't count. I have a couple purchases in 2022 and 2023 but if I were Tesla I'd ignore those too.
Folks need to have serious disposable income to drop...
Following up here with an update from my contact at EVBase...
These will go back into production next month. I have a review unit that will be shipped to me so expect a video as soon as I get my hands on it. I do like the one in my R1S and it's been holding up quite well.
Probably propensity to purchase at the price offered.
These aren't inexpensive, maybe these folks already have $50K deposits on Roadsters that they made years ago - I know at least a few of the folks who've posted on X have long-standing Roadster deposits. Some probably also purchased...
Maybe they should have a Model S Signature Final Paupers Edition for the old price of $69,420 with 0% APR for 144 months with $0 down. Wheels and tires are paid options.
