S is still available, at least in NJ. Still have a half-dozen left. The last time when Tesla ran down to 2-3 they released another batch of S and X's. I think they're dribbling them out for some reason. Maybe until the sig series get produced and delivered.

You figure 90-95% are going to pass, if not more. It's spendy and I bet a decent number of those folks plunked down $50K deposits years ago for the Roadster which will be revealed imminently.

Following up here with an update from my contact at EVBase... These will go back into production next month. I have a review unit that will be shipped to me so expect a video as soon as I get my hands on it. I do like the one in my R1S and it's been holding up quite well.
