My turn for Critical Error, week 2

I was just contacted by my service advisor that everything is repaired and ready for pick up. Tomorrow morning beginning a 500 mile road trip up to Reno and South Lake Tahoe. The roads are mostly clear from all the snow and the temps will get down to 21°F overnight. I figured it would be a...

Broken at delivery: Critical Steering Issue Detected & Loss of System Redundancy Detected

If I were you, I would tell them what the Dublin California Service Center discovered and their remedy. They can see the alert codes that were triggered. No need to try and replicate. They need to use the data they have access to. If this was a plane and it was throwing detailed error codes...

Broken at delivery: Critical Steering Issue Detected & Loss of System Redundancy Detected

I had the same issue. If you go to the ALERTS you will see all the errors. I guarantee there were about 15+ errors because the item that is faulty is connected to numerous systems. However, if the vehicle is not with you, you can't check and see it. Drove it three times and had three...

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

Too bad he didn’t provide more detail like some of the error codes. Potentially it is the same issue I had, which requires the replacement of the Low Voltage Backbone & Harness.

Noticed sanding swirls & scratches on my newly delivered Cybertruck

I am scheduled to get my Cybertruck back on Wednesday, March 6th at 5:30 pm. They had to fix another issue (replace the Low Voltage Wire Harness) on top of the sanding/scratches. So we will see what they did. I told them don't try and resurface the entire vehicle to match the messed up...

CyberTent (Basecamp Tent) First Review ⛺︎ [Updated w/ Awning Photos]

I expect the aftermarket will come up with something that will truly take this to the next level. It is hard for auto companies to compete against someone who focuses on outdoor lifestyle products exclusively. My guess is 12 months from now the market will be ripe for the upcoming...

[Update: NOT VALET] owner crashes Cybertruck at Beverly Hills Hotel 🤦🏻‍♂️

The last time I let someone valet my car it was my 7 Speed Corvette. This guy struggled to get it out of first. I told him, "point me to the lot because it is obvious you cannot drive a manual."

    Charging the Cybertruck at home?

I am surprised I don't see any stats on the actual charging time for the Universal Wall Charger. My appointment to get it installed with the Powershare Backup Gateway 3V should happen within the next 10 days, but I would think someone has this data. I don't think the previous wall charger and...

[Update: NOT VALET] owner crashes Cybertruck at Beverly Hills Hotel 🤦🏻‍♂️

Jay Leno said in the last Cybertruck video he did..."I don't let anyone VALET my vehicles." He went on to say that he will ask them if he can park it himself and he still will tip them. Then he said, "If it is VALET ONLY, they don't get my business and I just eat somewhere else."

Service Bulletin: Retrofit Updated Rear Steering Actuator (SB-24-32-004 - 2/29/24)

My Cybertruck VIN 1506 is currently at the Tesla Service Center and I was just informed that the service bulletin does not apply to my vehicle. So my guess it is on ones that have an earlier VIN number.

Service Bulletin: Retrofit Updated Rear Steering Actuator (SB-24-32-004 - 2/29/24)

I wonder if I should ask my service advisor about this being my Cybertruck is currently in the shop getting the Low Voltage Harness replaced.

My turn for Critical Error, week 2

I have not seen that offered. They gave me a Model S with free supercharging. Maybe I will ask them when I pick up the vehicle if I can get some free supercharging miles, especially since my rate at home $0.34 (Pacific Gas & Electric) is higher than some superchargers in California. I was in Elk...

My turn for Critical Error, week 2

That looks like a lot of work (78 steps in total). I think that work happened yesterday because the vehicle moved from outside the building to inside the building and all four doors + frunk were open yesterday for about 4 hours. I didn’t see the estimated labor time on the job via the link you...

Install of Powershare Home Backup hardware

I live in the Bay Area and my estimate is incoming. They believe it was be between $3,200 and $3,800. The thing people need to be aware of is that the PowerShare Gateway 3V and the Universal Wall Charger have to be physically linked via a communication wire. My main panel and UWC installation...

My turn for Critical Error, week 2

My tracker no longer says “waiting on parts” and it shows it as “repair in progress” with an estimated completion of Monday, March 4th at 5:30 pm. Not sure how accurate the app is, but that is what it says.

My turn for Critical Error, week 2

I thought we have a very similar problem, but we appear to have a different path to resolution. They said to me: "We are progressing through service and technician diagnostic, Bed and Backbone Harnesses - Harness - LV Backbone is faulty. The part is special order and plan to have the part by...
