You live in California, as do I. I use Quick Quack ($21 per month) for the basic unlimited wash. 90 seconds and it comes out the other end like a brand new baby. Washing takes too much time. Quick Quack is a California company with other 180 sites. Hopefully they start opening more site site...
Tesla Plastic Key Cards melt in direct sunlight (per Tesla), which can cause problems. On the Cybertruck, the key card area is one of the more exposed Tesla's. I got the medal key card and I think it is a nice touch/upgrade. It feels like my Apple Titanium Card in terms of feel, but the Tesla...
On my way from San Francisco to Los Angeles I was routed to the 325 kWh new station in Lebec, CA (the Grapvine). I plugged in at 16% and it peaked at 19% to 20%. Went below 250 kWh at 26% and went below 150% at 46%. Air temps were 58°F and it was preconditioned. It took 18 minutes to go from...
In version 12 there were things that jumped out that needed to be address:
Tailgating
Late Braking
Left Hand Turns
Hugging the Left Side of the Lane
No Turn on Red
In v13, addressed the tailgating and I would say it is 80% better. On the freeway there were a couple of times where it did not...
It is all about your download speed and strength of connection. Mine downloaded it in 17 minutes. I have AT&T 1GB Fiber. I feel it is fast enough and I don’t feel the need to move one of my mesh routers closer to get better speeds. I haven’t done a speed test with the truck yet. Maybe I should...
My Wife said she heard some sort of static coming from the speakers while listening to the radio. She attempted to recorded it when she was driving, but her iPhone was unable to pick up the noise. When I drove it I was listening to Apple Music and I could not replicate it.
When I placed my deposit for my CyberTruck on November 21, 2019 I also decided to invest in Tesla. I had my eye on Tesla since 2017 and I was looking for some catalyst. I felt the CyberTruck was something that was so different from what we have ever seen as living auto consumers.
So on...
Nice little bump in speed, but the charging curve is what needs to be addressed. That bump in speed is not worth driving a little more out of the way. Not enough time savings.
What is silly is here in the Bay Area they have went live with several V4 Chargers, but they all are 250KW. Why put in the V4 and not upgrade beyond 250KW?
You were correct. A couple of wraps with black electrical tape did the deed. No more knocking noise at low speed. I have a service ticket to take it in next month to get it fixed.
I take my CyberTruck through an automated (touch) car wash called QuickQuack. I get the basic wash so there is no sealants or waxes. I get nothing put on the tires because it makes a mess. 90 seconds...BOOM...I come out the other end like a new baby. I don't got time for all that washing...
I have a similar sound on the drivers side. What I have noticed is that if I roll down the window 30% or more...that sound is gone. If I roll it back up, it is there. So I am wondering if the door needs to be adjusted versus just that striker.
