I am working through some L track handle ideas. See the photo below. There are lots of options, most are going to take a visit to your local machine shop... unless you have a milling machine and lathe at home. I was a little surprised there was not already some type of handle for L tracks on...
While everyone loves a windfall, it is like I told my kids, there are only two types of fair...
One is proceeded by "county", and the other is followed by "weather".
That is life.
Yeah, I am in Culpeper and had a long talk last year with my Comm. of Revenue last year. Unless someone has some pull in Richmond, then Virginia CT owners are all F*$#ed.
I only know Virginnia's and VA. follows NEC code and according to the National Electrical Code (NEC), specifically Article 110.14 (Electrical Connections), two 6 AWG wires can be connected with a wire nut, provided the wire nut is listed and rated for that specific combination of wire sizes and...
I think you can use wire nuts for two 6awg, with the right wire nut?
Best practices may be another discussion... but I do not believe this violates code, unless there is a recent code change.
Robert,
Great topic. I am right where you are.
I have been working on the same thing - a mounted handle to provide a degree of safety and assist when climbing into and out of the truck bed. I am focusing on something that can be mounted in the L tracks. That way it will be easily movable...
I have a removable bed liner in my truck. When I open the rear floor storage door up any hooks on the L track at the rear part of the truck prevent the door from fully opening. I may cut the bed liner along the sides of the door to fix this.
Has anyone else had this problem?
First, I really like your Raktical takRAK frunk molle panel set up, but $450 for just the 2 relatively small panels - the vertical back and horizontal bottom - not including the 2 side "fin" panels, shipping or tax, seems expensive? Perhaps it includes the normal CyberTruck pricing bump?
Brilliant!
I am totally using this idea.
Any tips or lessons learned in mounting the molle to the panel? Are you happy with the location and sturdiness of the panel?
What I need is an extension cable for a TESLA supercharger, 6'-8' would work.
The last SC site I visited I had to angle park in the handicap parking slot to get the stock cable to reach the truck.
I had Grok find a recipe for me. The problem is there is no way to "capture" or save the information. Grok requires you to write it down, not something i am willing to do while driving. It would be nice if one could email or text the information.
Any suggestions?
I have the EXACT same problem and am also looking.
More than a little disappointed, as this is an OEM Tesla part. My limiting factor is I also have the safe in the console under the tray, so this limits the tray a little in depth.
Please Let me know if you find a good solution.
Can you expound on this?
What does it mean to plug "it into an FM transmitter that connects to an unused FM station"?
Where did you get your tuner, it seems you did not use the site you referenced since you are unsure if it is reliable.
Thank you.
I went directly to the AI's mouth,
Querry to GROK:
My executive summary: We don't know, but soon.
### Key Points
- The Tesla Cybertruck is expected to receive software update 2025.26, enabling it to run GROK, very soon, likely within days or weeks from July 15, 2025.
- As of now, the update...
Literally, the first time I got into a Cybertruck I grabbed the screen and tried to cant it towards me so I could both reach and view it easier. This was before I did anything else. I was shocked to find it was fixed and not tiltable.
Now, with the swivel kit installed, it is much easier to...
I have had mine from @Anysix for a while. I believe all the kits come from the same factory. IMHO, it is the single best accessory I have installed. No problems at all.
The lack of an easy and safe way to gain access to the bed is a total fail on Tesla's part. I hate that we have to resort to step ladders to safely climb into our trucks.
Arguably some of the best engineers in the world, design the best pickup in the world and they don't even include something...
