That is incorrect, even though it is a three peak rated tire. It is not a winter rated snow tire with a much softer compound like Blizzak or Nokian.

It depends on what your needs are. The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent, is not a winter rated tire and I think would not differ a whole lot from the Goodyear DuraTrac. I need a true winter tire and will go with Blizzaks or maybe Nokian, both excellent, however, will have a significant trade-off...
