For me it's a maybe....it's going to depend on the price tag. If it's 3-6k like comparable 2wd quads, then yes, if its 15-20k like high end 4wd quads, then no.
Remember...the CT does not have a center console. Where that would be is a fold down seat....that adds another wrinkle to where cup holders might be. yes it did have them when the seat was down (like in the demo) but what if it is not down?
biggest concern (at least as far as i can tell) is the cameras. Assuming they are plastic fenders and will break off, but then you have the expensive camera (and wiring) that is now damaged and may need replaced. In the meantime what happens to your ability to use advanced auto pilot?
Looking at the current model 3 and Model Y it comes with a card that is the "key" for thee vehicle (yes you can also use your cellphone, but this is not always pratical). To use it you place the key on the center console by the cup holders.
but the CT does not have a center console, it has a...
could be a full length swing as well instead of the split. However, it could still work with the 60/40 split, there would just be two ramps (one in each door) with a small gap in-between.
here in the states the insurance companies can charge whatever they want. There is little in the way of laws to prevent that.
That being said they look at the vehicle, what it costs to repair and add a certain % to maintain their profits and call it good. They also don't have to keep your...
not yet, but if its more than 8k they wont sell very many. Sure there are ATVs out there that sell for more, but not a lot of people buy them compared to the 3-7k models. Especially 2wd only models (which is what it appears the CQ is)
is the CT drive by wire? That's the first I have heard of that. No current production Tesla's are fully DBW (at least not for the steering those are still mechanically linked)
They have an internal network outage worldwide. Many have reported not being able to unlock their cars via the mobile app. Log into the website is also down. No tesla's can be delivered and none can be picked up from service centers.....
it's a big mess right now.

if it was only the paint that was at issue, i would agree. But the lack of consistency in the assembly of the vehicles is very concerning. I would love to talk to a few tesla field techs about how many times they are having to adjust body/door panels to line them up right. These are things the...
There is actually a very easy way to Tesla to avoid the Osborne Effect.
Only offer the new cells in the CT, Roadster, and Semi. Leave the current cells in the current car models (IE S,3,X, and Y) which they can still purchase from Panasonic. Then when a redesign of those models comes into play...
true, but there is zilch on it. At least we have some ideas of specs on the CT and the other prototype vehicles (Semi, Roadster, etc). Makes me almost wonder if they took a production ATV from another company (say Yamaha) and installed an electric motor and some fancy sheet metal to make it look...
