A 5-10% lukewarm citric solution can be effective and you may want to add a wetting agent (soap) to make it have better contact. ASTM A967 can provide guidance.
They sell brand name stuff that you can use, but you can make your own.

I say, if you have an early reservation, just order one when you can and then maybe you can sell it, 366 days after you take delivery, and make a profit.
I guess if it’s wet weather you could just keep the rear cover open for better visibility. Would just be just like most every other truck out there, if you did that.
I remember the first M3s had a horrible, low resolution and fish-eye view rear camera….and thankfully they were able to fix that...
We use our two M3 key fobs on our MY, that we kept when trading in our M3 to Tesla for the Y. They work fine on the Model Y, so would think they would work on the Cybertruck too.
I keep checking this thread to see if they are going in to later RN numbers territory, but recently it seems like Tesla has slowed down/stopped around RN11285XXX and I'm wondering why. Are they now going back to the beginning of the line and "filling in the gaps?" Or is there some kind of...
Good to see it go through a regular carwash. We've always taken our Teslas (a MS, MS and MY) through the automatic carwash. Really great that the Cybertruck has a Carwash Mode! That's a big step forward. Wish they had that on other Teslas years ago.
Looks awesome! Enjoy! I'm up here in the Jacksonville area and about 200K down "the list"..... but very nice to see Florida folks are getting deliveries.
Agree. It will be completely fine in the rain. That being said, people also need to realize it's probably not going to look like it does, if you went to go see at a Tesla showroom, when on display with ropes all around it. It's going to show all kinds of fingerprints, probably mostly on the...
Hey, I love stainless, but I got to raise the "BS Flag" for those of you that want to believe that Stainless Steel is immune from rust. It contains Iron. I own a business that does industrial cleaning and we passivate, or sometimes pickle (with Nitric/Hydrofluoric acid), stainless steel...
I just looked at my F350 Platinum and the Michelin tires say they are 20", but looking online it looks like the OEM wheels have to be 19.5" wheels for this truck? And they appear to come in either 6" or 6.75" width. So would a 19.5" wheel, that's 6" or 6.75" wide, work on the Cybertruck too if...
Is it possible to do a narrower wheel though? Or is that just the nature of the beast (no pun intended) to make it fit with the brakes? 9.5" seems wide and the tires look pretty wide. I was thinking about a little less aggressive tread and a little narrower tire, but still decently wider than...
Why does the width on an 18" wheel need to be wider than 9"? Why can't it be 8.5"? Also, why not make a 19" wheel? When I got new Martian wheels for my Model Y Performance, I went with smaller and narrower wheels to protect the rims from curbing. Now I can hit curbs all I want and nothing...
