Omg, hard ew. I have my mirrors removed and it’s worked great. Glad you found a solution for you but it sounds like you need to slow down if you’re making split second decisions with changing lanes ? No disrespect, this just seems so silly (and visually off-putting) both on the interior phone...
Is there any timing for rev 2.0? I want to buy these but want to wait for the new version as I'm sure you guys have learned quite a bit since they launched in April/May.
Correct, I had sent the managing company photos of everything but when the installers came to install, the power company shut off the main power but then they realized they needed to separate the meter from the panel as those are both included in the same housing and the PowerShare hardware...
Yeah the additional cameras you want me to stick on my truck is gonna be a big no go for me lol. Someone needs to find a way to use the integrated cameras the truck already has. Until then, I'll live with the onscreen mirror.
Had everyone out (electricians/power company) to install my PowerShare hardware (and new panel) last Wednesday but unfortunately it's not going to work with my home setup as I need to separate my panel from my meter and quote for that with everything included/installed is $15k. So I have sadly...
What are the 14 states that require the side mirror? Can you post your findings on that please? This solution looks great, REALLY hoping 3rd party accessory makers come up with some great options in the next year. I want to ditch my side mirror SO BADLY.
Has anyone actually gotten them shipped to them or delivered AFTER delivery or are they just coming with new deliveries so far? Personally, I hit Wes up every day I see him post about something else, along with the official CT twitter account asking for any update. Never get one, haha.
That's the whole point of him having to connect the power himself. Due to regulatory laws, Tesla can't officially sell the truck with a lightbar fully functioning as it's illegal in certain states. States where it is legal, there are stipulations of only using it on class B or lower roads (ie...
Everyone is expensive for Cybertruck from what I have found as an insurance broker. Especially USAA. Many people think their "exclusive" military quotes are great, they are definitely NOT lol. They pray upon people's loyalty. Plus per state law, as auto insurance is required to drive, they MUST...
1. An OEM plug for the rear view mirror that matches the housing. I want to remove that dinky pile of trash but can’t find anything to fill it with that isn’t 3D printed awfulness.
2. Side mirror stainless steel hole plugs. I want so badly to remove the side mirrors (spare me the legal jargon...
For me, it’s worth the fix it ticket to have the sleek look. I also haven’t had a front plate since 2016 in Colorado and never been cited for it….and I have been pulled over twice since then for speeding which resulted in two warnings. This “threat” of not being compliant with the law when Tesla...
When I turn the wheel while moving the creaks are enormously loud and annoying. Had it it once to fix it, didn’t fix it at all. Dropped it off today to address it again. When you sit in either front seat you can shimmy your body and get the creaks to happen. Hope they get it taken care of.
