This is my second time trying the BFK+Windex combo and I’m left with splotches, streaks, and inconsistencies. I wonder what I’m doing wrong. I’ve been following Out of Specs tips the best that I can. Any tips?
I definitely agree with quality over cheap any day of the week but I’m also holding out to see what the redesigned wheel covers look like before getting something like this. I would hate to drop a lot and then love the new covers and never use something like this again. We will see how long...
1. Came in a huge and heavy box
2. Feels like durable, strong, good quality
3. Nice little branding and details
4. Covers fit on snugly
5. Easily slides to the back of the bed
6. Vault divider keeps them in the back half with a tiny bit of room in between. (Wonder if they’ll slide a bit.)

I’ve removed mine and don’t regret it at all. It opens up your view a lot. I planned on keeping the rear view up to see back seat passengers but that perspective was too close and overall clunky.
I went 15% on the front doors and 50% on windshield. Used LLumar IRX for the first time and I really like it. Matches pretty nicely and not too dark at night. My model Y was done with 20% 3M Ceramic and it was harder to see out of at night.
