I am concerned the Single Motor CT will never happen.

I think what will probably happen is that there will be a dual motor variation that becomes available for say, 44k, with 300 miles and then they'll offer a long range one (350-400mi for 49k) if and when/if they decide to drop the single motor. That's how they did it with the others. Eliminate...

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

Any chance you could update your original post with updated count as a timeline? In other words, show us how the reservations change over time, adding a line each month? That would be pretty cool.

    Cybertruck Vs. New Bronco

Big reason I got the tri-motor. 500 miles. I've yet to travel more than 300 miles off road in one day and that was going balls out on my adventure motorcycle on mostly gravel roads. When I'm doing technical stuff mixed in its usually closer to 150 miles. I think the fully kitted up Bronco...

The Cybertruck is NOT a "Pickup Truck". So what is it?

Ok. despite what Sandy says, notice the vehicles he's chosen to compare the Cybertruck to. If you asked me before the Cybertruck what a 'Pickup Truck' was I would defined by it's combination of passenger cab and a separate cargo area which is approximately 5-6 ft long, 4-5 ft wide and with a...

    Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

Well I hope you Well I hope you're right and I'm wrong. I have watched that video multiple times. I think it's the best one out there on the structure of the CT and I've contemplated reaching out to him to do an interview. Good stuff.

    Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

If there weren't a market for it, then the truck companies wouldn't be making them. I totally agree that there is certainly a market for that size. I'm just pointing out that it's unlikely to happen with the CT given the unique design constraints associated with an exoskeleton based system.

    Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

The problem with any kind of bed change is that the entire vehicle would need to be re-engineered. The reason that Tesla is going to be able to produce these at the costs they've outlined is that the body for every single truck will be identical. You would literally have to do a ground up...

    This Site

Agreed. It's Top Notch. I almost always see CT news posted here before anywhere else by the Admin. The new visualizer is super cool. I'm glad you decided to say something because I think it all the time.
