Had this issue as well. Pushing towards the windshield on the piece of plastic behind the steering wheel fixed it for now but it's so thin and flexible I know it's gonna move again.
The plastic on this truck overall is so cheap and shitty. Went in for a creak and 3 rattles among other...
On bad days I get less than 2 miles per 1% battery, and that's excluding preconditioning. so if you assume I go out for lunch half of the time, my 18 mile per day average is more like 40 miles, plus preconditioning 2.5 times per day. I also have my own business, so I don't usually get 9-5 kind...
I have what you're describing. I found it weird but it didn't seem like a glitch or something to me. Just seemed like a reality of how the air suspension is set up.
It's like the blow off for the compressor cycles right when the tank is full, and the excess goes to the rear suspension...
Fully agree with this. My commute is 14 miles round trip. Plus if I went somewhere for lunch or dinner that added another 5 miles. And in the winter in my model y, I could not keep up with 120v. Preheating the car plus driving with the climate on would consume enough range that I couldn't...
Yeah see he claims 2 passes of windex is enough. I did not find that to be true. Even if my second pass started with a fresh rag that had no residue on it, I often needed 3 rags for the removal of the bkf. I would rotate my rags. The clean 3rd rag would become the 2nd rag on the next spot i...
The wheels get closer together as the suspension goes up. This can cause some popping noises from the tires sliding if they aren't free to move during the transition (while foot is on the brakes, parking brake is on, or even just on asphalt/concrete)
Well you might be on to something with this one. The bed outlets combined don't reach 11.5kW, but if note 5 there is correct that there will be outlet adapters for the mobile powershare connector, I have to assume that means from the charge port. It also probably means that you are limited on...
Can you show any actual evidence of someone sending power backwards on the mobile connector plugged into the truck's charging port into a female nema 14-50 outlet? Or are you just asserting that because the name is powershare it must have that ability?
Otherwise there is no distinction...
I definitely have some problems with this one.
Good: low end throttle response, both acceleration and regen are much smoother and easier to control now. At first I thought regen was significantly reduced until I realized the curve was just changed
Bad:
- my seat now only moves one...
Not stupid at all. I heard some people had success shoving foam under there.
In fairness, I'm only 2 weeks out from my service appointment, so it's possible it could come back. But I think for the people who went in, had it fixed, and it returned shortly after, that their fix was to tighten...
I'm not sure what feedback you think you're giving them. If you require a no stop 300+ mile range with the most extreme possible towing load, then EVs will never be for you. If, as you claim, the 340 mile cybertruck only gets 80 miles on a charge when towing a load that you expect to tow, then...
I had this happen last week. I was sitting at work, had walked away from the truck with the tonneau open and the tailgate down. But nobody was near the truck for probably an hour when the alarm randomly went off. I had just downloaded and installed the latest software too, so it's not...
I'm not sure the bed needs this gap to drain... There are drains around the under bed storage as well as down by the compressor tank. Only with more water than those drains could handle would the gap at the tailgate be a drain
No, if you bend it the way you describe, the rubber feet on the bottom will not touch the bed the way they need to for a secure fit, so the bed divider will tend not to stay put. That's why I went through the gyrations of cutting it
The connectors and the feet are at the correct position though. It's the bottom aluminum bit that's too close to the bottom of the feet. If you try to fix it another way it won't fit securely
I had to cut notches for the bed ridges. The issue is the middle of the bed. The L track and the rubber feet are perfectly positioned. One guy before me cut the entire bottom of his divider which gave me the idea to do this. I did it this way to retain some structure. Took me hours to file...
