Super simple!
Open the frunk, remove the cabin air filter service panel cover, and run an inspection camera down to the top side of the driver's side mount. Easy! š
j/k I know not everybody has an inspection camera.
I'm thinking that when I order a replacement truck, I'll just...
Presumably, a rev-G resolves the front motor noise issue.

Just had mine replaced with a rev-F and itās still making noise. Latest rev in the EPC is G. Started a buy back; still waiting on the dollar amount.
Anyone with a ā26 AWD able to check if the front motor is a rev-G? š If/when my buyback goes through, Iād want a new truck with at least a rev-G front motor.
I must have had their worse tech work on my truck. Multiple plastic fasteners missing around the fender liners, different bolt securing the aero shield (possible cross thread), scratches all over the frunk tub, broken coolant line causing a rattle.....overall, multiple signs a tech just didn't...
Keep in mind neutral in an EV doesnāt disengage the motor; it only prevents power going to the motor. The motor still spins. Thatās why youāre probably still hearing the noise.
I donāt think itās wind noise in my case.
Noise is temperature dependent; once the motor is fully warmed up, noise is...
Itās like pulling teeth to get a buy back for mine. Had to bug them for a week just to get them to submit the request.
But seriously, like you got your buy back done. š (y)
My plan is to just a ā26 right away. Could be awaiting ~6 months for a ā27 and thatās no guarantee issues will be...
𤣠Yes, it means you're family. Don't be surprised if you see the occasional bird while driving around. There has been discussions about making it the official CT wave.
Had mine done a couple months ago. The 1st set they installed had scratches from what I think was shipping, but the alignment was fine. 2nd set went in and alignment is fine too.
Iāve seen one somewhere on here. PCS is $1800, labor is ~$250/hr, and add misc items it comes up to over $3k. Others also needed the Ancillary Device Cluster assembly replaced; another $1800 +tax...
If someone is paying for the repair, they can request the old part. IMO, it would be good to get a failed PCS into the hands of someone that does component level repairs to find out whatās failing. š
