I am waiting to hear back from my wrap company - but if they need a whole new roll of PPF to reapply, it will be way more than this credit - and can't use the credit with my wrapper.
You will soon get over your range apprehension. ICE cars have the exact speed/range dilemma, except most people don't pay that close attention to their fuel gauge. Also, if on a road trip, don't be too concerned with charging above 80%. Yes, quicker stop with less than 80% may be faster most of...
If you haven't done the math, AT tires = rated range of 318 miles = 123/0.3867 or said differently 386.7 watts per mile. (Probably sea level, flat, 15 degrees Celsius, no wind, clean car, no lunar eclipse.)
I had mine in for service twice for this on the driver's side front door. After panel removal etc I was told they applied grease to the latch. When the rear door started creaking I just applied some white lithium grease to the striker and the latch and the sound went away.
We towed a 6000lbs trailer for 1300 miles from San Diego to Bryce Canyon, Kanab and some offroad dispersed camping and got around 718 watts per mile. I drove like a grandpa a lot of it aka the mandatory 55mph in CA while towing. Lots of climbing and descending. I am hoping the rack may actually...
Thank you. This is really helpful. I am looking at the flat panel rack or cap primarily because it will hopefully reduce drag while towing a trailer (aussie style offroad or a small Airstream.)
Speed? Would like to see a longer ride comparison as well. At least 90 to a 100 miles round trip so to even out any elevation changes. Otherwise impressive.
