I'd be curious to see efficiency numbers for the bed cap vs solid bed rack. It would make sense a bed cap would make towing a trailer marginally better (as cybertruck one kinda proved)
Easy to say if you were not personally harmed. I have zero grace to give to anyone who intentionally harms others' property. It is not just the damaged property but also the violation of decency.
Love this idea. Been thinking of the best way to do this. Also toying with the idea of a completely off grid EV and house backup battery /PV system. (Disgruntled SDG&E customer.)
I got mine back in February, over objections from my wife. We were a spectacle for a while when there were less than a 1000 of us. I was going to keep it SS. This summer my wife saw a black wrapped CT and said "that actually looks good!" I had to agree the SS was getting a little old and had it...
I installed some sweet seat covers and now I have the constant nagging while driving alone in the car from the passenger seat. I thought just locking in the seatbelt would be a temporary solution but then the car won't lock when I walk away and Spotify stays linked to my car and not my headset...
I'm planning on getting these tires when the AT stock tires wears out. Really curious a out the range impact positive or negative compared to factory tires.
11,500 miles since Feb, 395W/mile on average with some spirited driving mxed with 65mph highway driving (<350w/mile doing so.) Best vehicle I've ever had.
LOL thanks for making me revisit Aerodynamics For Naval Aviators ;)
You must use the following equation to calculate the parasite drag DP = ½ ρ V2 C,0 A. This equation uses ρ = air density, V = velocity (airspeed), C,0 = zero-lift drag coefficient, and A = surface area.
Yes, parasite drag...
On our latest camping trip we had our portable fridge/freezer, Starlink Gen 3 plugged in 24/7 when not driving, and used a water kettle, an electric griddle, and of course charged our phones etc with minimal draw. Even with the lights on in the bed while in tent mode and cold nights (no heat in...
I recently received these cooler bags and have been eager to try them out. So far, I'm impressed.
They're incredibly compact when not in use and fold completely flat for easy storage. Cleaning them is a breeze. The insulation is excellent, keeping groceries cold on the trip home from the store...
Just slow down. I drive 111 miles each way to work, San Diego to LAX. My CT is sitting at 72% in a parking garage as we speak. 222 miles round trip is easy peasy. I can do 95 mph home if I chose (to get a ticket) and still make it with no charging.
My other driver is an Airbus where I do 520...
