Even ice truck guys wouldn’t haul 12’ long boards like that. You don’t put 12’ boards in a 6’ bed. Especially flimsy composite decking. You need a trailer for this.

Had my entire tonneau replaced on Monday due to it being crooked and not closing. The new one is still crooked, still doesn’t close most of the time, and now the double sided tape on both trim pieces is loose and the trim is coming up. It was not loose before this appointment.

Mine was also missing the rubber between the windshield and the metal. They told me that had to replace the entire windshield for that. I said never mind because I just paid 500 bucks to have it tinted.

The bed panel of your truck is warped. Tesla will replace it but you will have to make an appt. Mine is getting replaced next week.

Man you are just wrong. My friends went out last week. They scheduled him for 30 days out. Not rushed part. No loaner. Others have reported the same. You are simply uninformed.

They absolutely could if they wanted to. It would mean some lost revenue for them, so they simply don’t want to. They want to do it the cheapest way possible. Can and will are not the same.

My data is the official recall. Are you saying they would recall all of the trucks even though there is no issue with the wiper motor? Or can we agree that they recalled 11k trucks because they see an issue?

If they weren’t failing there wouldn’t be a recall.

185 per day = 1,295 per week. Great, so they can have enough wiper motors to replace all the recalled ones in about 2 months. If the 1,295 wiper motors that are going in new trucks every week is not delaying the parts for the recall, then what is? Where are all the wiper motors going? Not...

The problem is the parts ARE available. They are just using them in the new trucks. They should not be able to put a wiper motor in a new truck until they have sufficient stock to fix the already paid for trucks.

No it's not, because it can't have a true locking diff on the rear, it is software controlled. It's not the same and has been proven that the awd is better offload than the tri motor.
