From the recent alpha prototypes it is clear that Cyber truck downsized to Midsize category putting it in competition directly with the Rivian R1T.
Midsize comparison is by overall dimension and not by towing / payload number which I think might drop from original release.
I have attached...
yeah that would be nice but doubt they will introduce in the beginning and the crash test video showed that it was transparent so my hopes for solar are down
Chromatic control
https://insideevs.com/news/654572/tesla-cybertruck-spotted-with-new-black-tonneau-cover-glass-roof/
Does Cybertruck have similar chromatic control roof like a taycan on maybe plaid versions and normal glass roof for maybe the base version / dual motor.
It doesnt look like...
Lol, we are going to be the 21st century Aztek clowns that buy the cybertruck and children born today is going to laugh at CT design and think what was they smoking in the 2023.
atleast hearing the brand manager speak about Aztek sounds similar to CT moto " BETTER UTILITY THAN A TRUCK WITH MORE...
Putting the BAW functionality to bed.
We know based on the recent 8 tires in the bed that the width of cybertruck will be around 60" or 5 feet.
now If we were to assume the Cybertruck windshield to be a square and eyeballing some of the BAW shape and size this is how the BAW would wipe the CT...
I believe the Cybertruck light situation as compared to model 3 design language as explained below
1. Fog lights similar to model 3 and latest S/X where it has a focus light and an led stipe (bigger stripe in CT)
2. DRL just the corners -like eye brows
3. parking light - DRL brows +...
Yeah, the issue is copyrights / credits, wish it was posted on youtube or something but hey we got a new cybertruck look after what cyber rodeo ? damn time flies fast
Or it could be roof rack mounting points. Albeit access to storing anything there looks impractical. not quite a Ram box for sure, it can fit a basketball and all types of gears and helmets if youre cycling etc.,
This could be for the big ass bed storage like the honda ridegeline in addition to aero but sure would suck in ground clearance and offroad but the adaptive suspension should be sufficient for most scenarios
Guys Cybertruck will be in the premium segment like Model S and X.
It will differentiate the mass high volume and the elite low volume products. you wont find Cybertruck launching less than $85k...
Just pick up on the hints, models S - steering wheel, Model S like Instrument Cluster. Model S...
I think the cybertruck will be only 2 versions
QUAD and DUAL like the MODEL S.
I suspect $120k and $100k
with similar features like the model S...
Affordability will be out the door, they will "promise" to build a cheaper version in 2 years.
So all our poor guys with no deep pockets will...
what I mean by commercial is anyone who wants to use the Robo Taxi services. So if youre an individual or a business with a fleet of teslas that would like to run a taxi like services would buy the commercial license
I know tesla would also take a small fee like uber for the revenue generated...
for #4 Elon himself said there would be an option for 15miles min and atleast 30-40miles
calculated based on surface area. that was in 2019. I would assume in by 2023-2024 there would be improvement in solar tech thats almost 5 years by the time most people would get their CT's
For #10, I...
Well nice finding but i got to burst your bubble.
That receiver is just a roof rail mounting point and the protrusion is what we call in the industry as panel gap and poor fit and finish.
My one theory of the extended roof could be that the tonneau cover instead of rolling behind maybe its slides under the pano roof. very unlikely because of the patent and stuff but this is much simpler.
I hope the tri motor specs isnt the new quad motor specs. I want more for $85k.
1. more than 600mile range
2. sub 2.5 0-60, sub 10 sec 1/4mile
3. 3 screens like the S/X
4. Solar panel with 30 miles of daily clean charge
5. Reverse charging to home/grid
6. Everything heated / cooled seats...
Oooh I dig this Dually even though it might not happen because that means we dont get 4 wheel steering. Maybe there would be a heavy duty version of Cybertruck after the initial plaid CT launches
Just a casual day going over CT recap videos got me curious and caught my attention. Did you guys notice it looks like the side sail storage is gone and maybe we have a Side Panel opener instead.
1. This Pic showed at the Debut
2. This new prototype at tesla giga texas shows one smooth panel...
