Can you run Starlink mini on the 48v power feed?

As you know, the 48 volt feed is a supply voltage. It doesn’t carry any intelligence. The 48 volt supply will keep supplying 48 volts (if toggled “on” from the touchscreen) until turned off OR surpassing 400 watts. The green LIN wire sends an intelligent digital signal to the lightbar for...

Can you run Starlink mini on the 48v power feed?

I cannot tell if there are multiple connectors in the red-sleeved wiring. Based on experience I’d bet that there probably are multiple conductors in the red-sleeve. The mesh wiring underneath the very outer sheath is usually for RF-shielding that is connected to ground and in addition to...

It should exceed 2kw before tripping, no? Sounds like a service ticket.

Space X Buying Cellular Bandwidth & Model Y Competition

Today’s WSJ has 2 interesting articles. The first says that BMW & Mercedes are attempting to chisel away at the success of the Model Y. The more interesting article says that Space X bought $17 B in cellular bandwidth from Echostar. This is actually big news and a major move...

    Secret squat mode.Legit or BS?

You didn’t mislead anyone. You were just wondering. If it were true it would be kinda cool for example when I’m putting an elk carcass in the bed. I’ve done solo hunts where quartering an 1,800 pound animal at 2 am in a blizzard to make it one-person manageable could have been avoided had I...

    Secret squat mode.Legit or BS?

Dude is a douche. Totally dishonest post. I’m in Extract mode right now and it is clear why the douche’s video “cuts” away right after he finishes swiping his phone app: he’s worse than dishonest. He lies to get clicks. What a f@cking turd.

    Free Supercharge worth it?

See all those zeros? Hahaha, for my situation it sure is! But I charge maybe 1% at home. Contrast the about $16 shown in the photo for a single charge: that was my Model Y that my kid drove to Moab to meet the rest of our family for the Moab Music Festival. Free Supercharging doesn’t care if...

In the Commonwealth of Virginia radar dectectors are illegal. But they are legal in most states. I have a nice one and it has saved me from tickets. Next road trip you can borrow it!

Trip from Toronto across USA to Tesla Diner and back

I’ve spent many hours at that Page. AZ Supercharger! For the view, I think it is my favorite in the entire world, looking out at the landscape of Lake Powell! I’m 1/2 Canadian. My mother was from Manitoba. More Americans need to road trip Canada, for example to Banff.

What rack is that? How are you powering it? Roof accessory feed?

Can you run Starlink mini on the 48v power feed?

400 watt 48 volt >>> (1) River Pro solar input (100 watts?) and (2) Starlink Mini (can’t be more than 150-175 watts, right? My Starlink Performance dish is 48 volts. It’s power supply and router don’t pull more than 200 watts and are usually pulling 100-150 watts. I think you’d be good! And...
