  1. What a joke…B.C. bans self-driving vehicles on its roads

no point in arguing about RoboTaxi adoption, the same naysayers said cars would never catch on, who would ride in that infernal machine, lol. The classic is a picture of Times Square in 1904, and again in 1914. It's all horse drawn carriages in 1904, in 1914, you have to struggle to find the...
  2. What a joke…B.C. bans self-driving vehicles on its roads

Of course there is no place to park NOW, but what happens as more and more rely on RoboTaxis? Parking garages go extinct, no one is going to pay for parking any longer, when they no longer need to. This could take 3-5 years or longer, we'd have to consult the time traveler Elon for a closer...
  3. What a joke…B.C. bans self-driving vehicles on its roads

in a few years, when Tesla has lowered the per-mile cost of the RoboTaxi to around .50/mile, the Legacy automakers are litterally, toast. No THINKING person will EVER buy an ICE vehicle, or even an EV again, as the cost of the vehicle & financing, insurance, parking, maint, fuel exceeds...
  4. Which tire inflator

I have the Fantik X9, it has autostop and is designed for truck tires, it is pricy, but it works well, it comes with a longer hose as well. I also bought a quick connect for it, so it just clips on to the valve stem. It also has a light, and can double as a power station as well...
  5. Light Bar Options (Non-OEM Aftermarket)?

FYI, I emailed Urander, and asked if they their lightbar will mount to the Cybertruck, without their rack. The answer was yes, they have that mount availble. Don't see how you can do any better than $350 with free shipping for a 48V lightbar that will mount to the Cybertruck :)
  6. Evotrex-PG5 RV Trailer: Off-Grid Camping with AC On — V2V Charging, Home Energy Backup, and More

The base model is $120K, so your own portable supercharger, that you can live in, and tow around :) It does have a 20 gallon gas tank, that the generator runs on, that can generate 225KWH of power, or enough to charge the Cybertruck twice. So how much does 20 gallons of gas cost, near you? If...
  7. Am I the only one who’s discovered how incredibly useful FSD is in Long drive-through lines? In-N-Out you’ve met your match!

"In and Out, In and Out, that's what a burgers all about" Only been once, in the 90's, when I was out west, but I have their bumper sticker :-)
  8. Active Road Noise Reduction (Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)) Now Available on Cybertruck!

probably not. It has different seats, cloth, not fake leather. it requires the "premium audio" system to do it's "magic", so again.. no.
  9. Custom Spare Tire Rack

I would certainly buy this, if availble in the aftermarket.. I don't have the time or welding skills to make it.. Maybe get together with one of the 3rd party Cybertruck aftermarket companies and see if they are interested in manufacturing this, cut a deal for a small royalty/fee per copy...
  10. Active Road Noise Reduction (Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)) Now Available on Cybertruck!

Updated to 2026.2.9.1 late yesterday (2025 AWD), initially didn't have the option.. Drove it on some local trips, and checked this morning, had the option in Audio, but it had a message "Turn fan to low".. seems it is working now, as I drove to Tesla Service for an appointment for tire...
  11. What is the ideal tire rotation pattern for the CyberTruck (AWD/RearStear)

Here's what I've come up with, first picture directly from Tesla FASTEST SIMPLEST WAY TO ROTATE TIRES: Place Jack Stands on 2 rear tires, and remove both tires. Then jack up front left side (drivers), and remove tire. Place left rear on front left side Place removed tire on right rear tire...
  12. Spare tire storage idea: deflate it and stand it up in bed

Yes, except the CyberTruck tires are massive, at 35" in diameter, and weigh in at about #90. Deflating them, would not do much of anything to lower that weight, and would likely cause the bead that seals the tire to the wheel to fail/leak. If you don't have the space for the spare, just call...
  13. [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS] 2 Cybertrucks catch fire and burn down in parking lot (Santa Monica, Los Angeles - 3/5/26)

Page 29 "Fire". I guess they would use water after all, and not foam First Responders Guide for the Cybertruck: https://digitalassets.tesla.com/tesla-contents/image/upload/First-Responders-Cybertruck-Emergency-Response-Guide-EN.pdf
  14. [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS] 2 Cybertrucks catch fire and burn down in parking lot (Santa Monica, Los Angeles - 3/5/26)

Let's see if they investigate this, and find any "accelrant" in the debris, their will be evidence if they were set intentionaly. Tesla may be able to salvage the battery packs, and possibly the drive units, depending on how hot they got.. probably can't be used as spares for anything real...
  15. Software update hiatus

I am still on 2025.45.9.1, have done a soft reboot, it is on solid WiFi, no idea why it isn't updating. Last update was on 2/14, this is from "notateslaapp"
  16. Refilling the washer fluid in Cybertruck

ClearVuCam makes (2) kits one for the side front fender cameras, and another for the rear tailgate camera, it connects to the front license plate camera's washer hose, behind the frunk, so when you wash it, you wash all of them connected to that hose. https://www.clearvucam.com/store/tesla Mitch
  17. [UPDATE: NO LONGER APPLIES] Cybertrucks ordered by 3/31/26 qualify for FSD transfer (confirmed)

You can't put much faith in Grok or AI, it just googles the question, it really has no idea, lol On several discusssions of the criteria, RoboTaxis was specifically mentioned as counting towards the 10M active subscriptions, as well as those who bought FSD outright, they are counted in the...
  18. $69,990 is new price for Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck

My initial theory on Elon, was that he was a Martian, just trying to get home to Mars. however, time traveller fits better, as how does one single person start so many companies, on such diverse products, and they all seem to be doing well, and are leaders in their respective industries? It's...
  19. Connecting The Dots - Folding Time

Here is a video, which is absolutley worth spending an hour to watch for all TSLA investors & fans, it was recently released. The YouTube commercials are annoying, just skip them.. This explains Elon's "Magic Sauce" It's based on a book called "The Musk Way"...
