How have I lived this long without my trusty shovel on the side of my truck? Some of this stuff looks cool for sure but just like Jeeps there is no end to the aftermarket stuff you can bolt on that is less than OEM quality that serves little purpose.
Good job and I hope you enjoy! Mine has been bullet proof. Ignore the FUD. They are incredible vehicles. My first Tesla too. Not my first truck but the BEST one I've owned.
Cool. I have a lifetime subscription but when I spoke to Sirius/XM's tech support a few months ago they said it didn't work but they were working on it. Is this via a browser or some other hack? Thx for posting.
Cybertruck parked out front of our house today while we were boating. Minivan innocently backing down the parking lot and smashed into it. Wheel arch trim was knocked loose, but went back into place with no issue. The.wheel cover was scuffed but that’s about the extent of the real damage...
This is an in depth look at charging. Worth a watch. I go with ABC = Always Be Charging. It seems that more frequent smaller charges are better for the LiOn crystal and prevents cracking. So my daily is 60% but will gust up to 100% as needed for road trips. Just completed a 250 mile trip...
Even for just wear? I’m at 15,000 and 5/16. Discount Tore all but laughed when I said I hope to make it to 20,000. Torque in a beast is too addictive.
IKR! I couldn't be more Conservative and this is my first Tesla. There will be more. An incredible American company. Getting shade from both sides of the isle. Just myopic!
Agree w/ all comments. Personally I love this vehicle from technology to styling to the bold decision to have the stones to make it actually happen. My 5 year wait and Foundation series premium was well worth it. Seeing them in oncoming traffic is always a joy.
I chased one with temp tags...
Yes. In very rural Tennessee at night. Deer jumped out of the woods and directly into the path of the car. Were I not on FSD the car would have been going faster. Faster or slower there was NO way it could have been avoided. My wife and I saw it take one step and that was right out of the...
Absolutely. Ignore the FUD. To my knowledge there have been 2 physical recalls (someone may know more that I'm unaware of): 1. Wiper motor on very early builds (not mine). 2. Contrails (trim) pieces can come loose. Mine will get that recall but both sides are solid on mine, so again a...
Drove 250 miles tonight from Cincinnati south to a lake in Tennessee. The FSD update pops up about 2 hours before we left and the timing worked well so I installed it.
Overall I was reasonably pleased with 13.2.8 despite occasional lapses. I had driven this same route in February so I was...
