A larger pack would get rid of the massive ramp down on the existing pack, but would take longer to fill overall, from a v3 SC.
It really needs 800V SC and um better batteries...Chinese vans are doing 530kW already. Tesla is well and truly behind the curve already. Thats more than 2x v3 SC.
Lots of day trippers coming through CTOC that push thread numbers and posts, but also means the conversation groups are diluted.
I've been off a fair bit because of it, but I suppose conjecture has been replaced with more facts, so theres less assumptions to defend too.
But there seems to be...
Questions never hurt anyone, but prejudice without facts, makes fools of scholars. ;)
There is one more issue, relating to the electric brake booster failing and not having a backup power, as discussed in in the Critical Error threads. Could also be why "the pedal didn't brake like usual".
Ok, but will that make it easier or harder for the CT to comply with pedestrian safety rules?
As is with around 2800kg, the CT can be used both under the current 3500kg limit (still with 700kg payload) and also over that limit.
The point here was is if it was over 3500kg it would probably not...
It shouldn't be to hard to jerry rig a air to air heat exchanger with a two low wattage DC PC fans into a HRV big enough for the vault. Would significantly increase the comfortable temperature range of the vault, and add lots of fresh air.
You can actually get small household ones to replace...
Well the CT is still on the Aussie website, so it better be coming here!
I even got a call the other day from them offering a discount on another model while I wait for the CT.
So looking good still, will just take a while.
If it's licenced over 3.5t it might get around it as a light duty truck which range goes up to 7.5t. Would need a seperate drivers licence, but at least you could get it licenced.
For heating I would be using a electric blanket as well and some insulation either on top of the vault, that also helps to keep the hot or cold out, and offers better rain protection.
In general theres no reason at all to run a heat pump if you are just going to loose the heat through the...
I'd like to see consumption on a trek accross the Simpson, with some nice fluffy bulldust. It's goin to be painful to find a charger every hour.
You might have less air to push along, but you're going to be doing a lot more digging with those wheels in sand.
I'm actually surprised it works through glass at all, I'd imagine the glass would attenuate the signal a bit, so data rates would be slower, and more susceptible to interference, especially whilst driving. Dashboard heat mightvbe another issue, but hey at least its an option, and its fairly safe...
It looks like when it came in and twisted on its side and couldn't recover from there. The plasma views on re-entry were spectacular. They lost telemetry and Starlink at the same time, so likely a RUD soon after.
Apparently, there might of been an issue with the cold gas thrusters freezing up...
Live Re-entry video got me out of my seat! That was insane. Real life sci-fi!
Still looking across the sky for the pretty fireworks!
(I wonder why theres no location tracker)
Absolutely epic!
Really needed this. Well done SpaceX.
Booster - boost back burn, re-entry burn but just failed landing burn.
Meanwhile, Starship in retro orbit, opened PEZ door.
Next Raptor engine in vacuum test, re-entry!!
I put some cushions out to soften the landing! :ROFLMAO:
yeah it is a bit annoying, that is why I added the other youtube channels.
But if you go to spaceX on a normal browser, you can watch it on X:

6minutes to go!
SpaceX will be launching Spaceship Flight 3 soon, so I thought I'd share some links for people to watch and comment:

At least our drinks still have some H2O in it, you seem to be on pure absinthe and in the green fairy land.
The clause is only for one year and you can resell then anyway, even according to the clause. It's NOT 4 years.
It's also likely that many more jumped ship because they couldn't afford...
Exactly, it has to be established in some form to begin with.
It's like when you purchase and pay for something at the checkout in a store and they check your receipt on the way out.
You have already purchased it and its yours, and they have no right to check(haress) your personal belongings...
Whatever promised must still be in accordance with the law, you can't make up you own nonsense, like the sky is falling, and then claim on that.

The only reason they started sending convicts here is because them' American criminals and mobsters got together with them French gangsters...
Sadly you are still enslaved by fiat, and even your labour is still sold by your employer or tax, for their benefit as well, it's just that you have a good enough standard of living in your country that you don't complain about it as much.
Not to say it isn't so or not, but I would maybe double up on that, and would potentially send them an official letter with all the details, stating that you asked them to make an offer and they refused, so your understanding is that there will be no action taken under the clause (state it) and...
