12 Volts DC - Available in cabin?

Why no concealed carry? Why your state so up tight man? ? The only reason I bring up FCC is that apparently there's some of dem rules around interference an all. Like ones where you shouldn't be interfereing with another device over radio waves. But maybe lazzar jammin be good? :ROFLMAO:

Are people really selling their Cybertrucks for $200k+ or is that all hype and are there ramifications?

I think you are missing the point here. Tesla doesn't have to take YOU to court at all. Ever. Why? Because you are already scared. (PS there's been months worth of discussion on this here with actual lawyers, I'll take their word)

Are people really selling their Cybertrucks for $200k+ or is that all hype and are there ramifications?

Exactly. A contract has to be tested before it has standing. Accordingly, the whole clause sham is just to wham bam scare you ma'am. It's not the legality of the clause, it's just the cost of litigation that will get you in the end. Either way it shouldn't be in there, and I still don't...

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

First up welcome to the forum, happy to see you here. Let alone to give some more weight to the seriousness of the critical failures being experienced by CT owners. Your posts have been Interesting. I am also very concerned why the system design allows the SbW and brake booster to fail at the...

    Powershare Install Completed

That's a decent amount and should offer some incentive to get CT solar charging to work. Often space is the limiting factor. Obviously while the grid is operational you can still charge from your on solar now anyway, so you're getting most of the benefit already. You can expect up to...

12 Volts DC - Available in cabin?

So you really believe that the Radar detector is the only load on that cable and they put the cable there just for that?

CyberBeast Cybertruck Suspension Deep Dive and RTI Test | Car and Driver

As per the video this depends on the height of the knuckle assembly. If its like the CT one so high the ball joint is above the wheel (which also limits wheel diameter) instead of inside the wheel, then the knucle length produces a lever arm to the bottom wishbone assembly, meaning less force is...

12 Volts DC - Available in cabin?

To be clear I don't have a problem with cable sizes at all, they will handle more than what a table says they are rated for, the question there is simply how much heat they will produce instead. I also don't have a problem with 400mA in general, but if its a critical supply, like for ADAS/FSD...

12 Volts DC - Available in cabin?

No FCC rules in your state? Can't be hard to track down a Cybertruck though atm right? ;)

My CyberTruck got sideswiped: What’s next?

Wow not fun! Honestly doesn't look to bad considering. The front door might have just misaligned the front door hinges, or bent them in a little. Thats a fairly easy alignment fix unless some frame fractured behind it. New wheel fender should be easy tofclip on as well as a new cap (take them...

    Powershare Install Completed

As before it really depends on your objectives and reasons to do it. If you want energy independence thats one thing, but if you want to reduce costs, or increase redundancy for an outage, these are not all the same objectives, and the compromises between then become expensive. As a general...

Clicking Noise coming from Suspension when wheel is turning

I have often wondered if Tesla couldn’t use a AI driven microphone to diagnose noises when driving that might be critical. Being able to triangulate using two microphones would have pinpointed that adapter in the glovebox. Heaps of things that you could detect like that, just like driving around...

3000 Mile Range Test Completed & EPA Estimate Confirmed in my real world driving

Yep energy management is key in many facets of engineering. Darkaero looks pretty sweet for a conventional aircraft with decent cruise and range. Celera 500L was promising until they went with turbines and Piaggio Avanti has been my favourite since I first saw it on regular TV decades ago. But...

12 Volts DC - Available in cabin?

Just in case you missed my point: Cable sizes are overated, beyond the capacity of the DC converters, to improve efficiency and resistance against faults. But that does not mean there is enough power available from the DC converter to run what you have diverted from a cable sized for 10A, even...

3000 Mile Range Test Completed & EPA Estimate Confirmed in my real world driving

Nice! I'm glad we are seeing better numbers and more in line with expectations and calculations. I also agree with your driving strategy using coasting instead of regen as per your other thread, and have been doing so for decades myself in hybrids etc. In fact we use the same technique for...

CyberBeast Cybertruck Suspension Deep Dive and RTI Test | Car and Driver

Well that is great news that it does that, but it sounds like it is only passively doing so which might not be good enough? I also think it might highlight a similar problem as shown in the video, and that is that a higher airbag suspension setting makes the airbags harder to compress overall...

12 Volts DC - Available in cabin?

Those power levels should be ok, but I wouldn't be going by the cable size to determine the rating, as cables are normally oversized to reduce resistance especially on things that are on all the time. Cable size might also be required because there is a load of that size on there already. A DC...

Two way peeler. My favorite kind. Not. It really sliced through the Honda Mad Max style.

12 Volts DC - Available in cabin?

Whats the power draw on your detector? I would check to see what the 12V is powering before using it without knowing the rating for that cable. Maybe measure the voltage drop on it when you turn the detectorr on?

Also for onroad it gives you warnings if you two pedal drive in MYP/M3P which isn't helpful on the track. There should be a crawl mode throttle map to emulate low range. Ideally a force feedback accelerator pedal would be cool, that would give you more resistance to keep you in the sweet spot...
