For the rear door, there has been one other case that i know of where they used the wrong door bracket at the factory leading to the door not opening at 90 deg. You'll need a svc call to correct it.
Included only if you proceed with and have the Powershare items installed by a Tesla certified installer.
The only hardware they will supply directly to the customer is the mobile connector.
Interesting. I assume a permanent reg sticker as well like the others. I guess they must send someone to talk to Beatrice at the local DMV. :D I'm not sure how else they would be able to get permanent reg stickers so quickly.
Hmm, interesting.
Since Verona is not a full Tesla center, I'm trying to wrap my head around how their process works while i wait for delivery day.
I can't imagine they can mail the docs to NYS and get plates and stuff back quickly. I also can't imagine a Tesla advisor personally visiting the...
@Travis64
I'm curious, for your delivery/registration... How many days between when you sent the signed NYS registration paperwork to delivery day? Did your vehicle have temporary or permanent NYS plates registration and inspection stickers on delivery day?
@AndyPevzner I'm curious, did they have NYS plates, and reg & inspection sticker on it when you took delivery, or did those arrive in the mail later on? Also how many days before delivery did you mail them the reg documents?
I'm a bit confused on how this reg process works. I sure hope i dont...
@Fronhofer
When you took delivery, did they have NYS plates on the vehicle or did those get sent to you later in the mail? Also, i see based on the VIN thread, they had your delivery date set before the truck arrived, is that correct?

For Tesla financing, you just need to apply to see what rate you get.. Third party financing...
If you key in on the handful of negative posts here, the negative non-owners here who post FUD, and CNN and the like, it will appear that there all kinds of issues with the CT, and all Teslas for that matter. It's all nonsense.
If you still want to back out, I believe they will refund you 100%...
I am doing the same, taking the credit. The PowerShare install for me would be 15k+ if I wanted it to power my house as my current wall charger and garage is 100ft+ away from my house. Fine with me as I expected this.
If you place an order(AWD), expect a VIN in around 90 days after the order, and then delivery 14 days after the VIN.
Now I will say production is moving very well, so if you set the above expectation you might be pleasantly surprised.
The service advisor will likely not know anything.
I've received a total of three emails from Tesla regarding powershare since ordering. The first was the survey, the second was the approval based on my survey, and the third was a confirmation that I'd soon be hearing from a Tesla certified...
