  1. Who's going to be the first one to wreck the cybertruck?

My guess is that Optimus will have a precocious clone who spent too much time on social media and thinks a CT tictok will get views.
  2. Cybertruck size vs. Model Y and S (spotted at supercharger together)

The sad wailing a hailstone makes when realizing it will be hitting a cybertruck; only to become a flash of icy mist.
  3. Garage parking action! Cybertruck fits into standard townhouse garage in Sunnyvale (before & after photos)

What is the minimum envelope for a CT storage structure? Should it retract into a smaller space? or drive through? It would need a fixed point for power.
  4. Cybertruck casting shot from inside factory (posted 10-12-23)

The rear casting has castings that attach above the wheel well to the cab. There are additional castings that are supporting the tailgate and these castings have mount points for the top of the sails. These top castings could be swapped out for other structural needs like a SUV/van or...
  5. Sentry Mode Cyber Owl Screen seen in parked Cybertruck

However, Tesla does not have karen mode to defend itself. Some folks break windows to save pets without understanding the vehicles capabilities.
  6. How would you like to see the Franz hammer/ball test rectified?

Well, you could apply a non-lethal charge to the SS skin after a piezo shock sensor senses a sharp blow to the glass. But Teslacam could also post the image, followed by AI recognition and targeting the students school, with AI generated ridicule video sent to tiktok. This video will be part...
  7. More 500-mile range rumors!

There is a lot of toy hauling and here in AZ. I am not sure where they go, the Rim? Glamis? but they are out somewhere in the vast west. It could be nice to have enough power to compensate for the extra drag/rolling resistance so that the CT could calculate range and Supercharging without...
  8. More 500-mile range rumors!

Tesla trailers with built in battery storage. Available for purchase or renting. A practical solution for the occasional weekend warrior.
  9. Sentry Mode Cyber Owl Screen seen in parked Cybertruck

In a cybertruck it is a symbol of sentry mode. In winnie the pooh the owl was wise... I would think an owl is certainly in the public domain and should offend anyone.
  10. Report: Cybertruck official factory wrap service launches w/in 6 months of first deliveries, at $8-12k price

DIY. It takes skill to do wraps mostly because of the curves they need to stretch around and trim pieces to remove. CT. Needs a squeegee and two bottles of quality beer.
  11. Cybertruck water capabilities? River crossing?

Two pontoons at the front corners that turn with the wheels and paddle wheels or a geared prop. In addition, two pontoons extending beyond the tailgate. This could keep the CT a few inches above the water line.
  12. Cybertruck water capabilities? River crossing?

Musk saying stupid stuff, just having fun. I guess if you take him literally or seriously in these casual interviews you become the fool. I have recalibrated my personal opinion of Elon, not negative, but I will let the final product declare its features and capabilities.
  13. Cybertruck water capabilities? River crossing?

Because it (U8) was designed to float. It is highly doubtful that Tesla had floatation as a design requirement.
  14. Cybertruck water capabilities? River crossing?

The SS panels contributes somewhat to the structure but if the panels were removed the CT would still be structurally valid. The loads are mostly supported by the castings and unibody. The good news is that SS panel replacement seems easy as they are snapped on or bolted on.
  15. Cybertruck water capabilities? River crossing?

304L SS is available annealed on rolls from suppliers. It can be quarter to half hard with work hardening. Some 300 series SS like 301 can be full work hardened. The trim around the doors and the front fenders are attached using clips. You can see the rectangular holes for these clips on the...
  16. Cybertruck water capabilities? River crossing?

The unibody looked highly perforated at the firewall. Elon has fun on twitter and says many stupid things. he told Leno that he desires his prototype to be close to production as much as possible but there are many differences so it is just the same bait and switch like other car companies...
