  1. Cybertruck Spotted in Wind Tunnel / Airflow Simulator at Giga Texas (4.12.23)

Seems to me that the best way to measure drag is to measure the current draw in the inverter at different speeds. Rolling resistance would need to be subtracted.
  2. Hundreds of Cybertruck castings spotted at Giga Texas! 🤩

It is contrary to most corporate rules to have that much inventory unless there is a reason. 1. They may be using one casting machine for both front and rear castings so they do each in large batches in between tool changes. 2. Castings may need to age. Yes, aluminum can be age hardened.
  3. Video: Cybertruck parks into a small garage (with room to spare)!

I got me a car, it's as big as a whale And we're headin' on down to the love shack I got me a Chrysler, it seats about twenty
  4. Cybertruck just cruising the 405 in LA... video capture

OBD codes don't always imply a direct corrective action. A bad O2 sensor could send a code pointing you to replace the MAP sensor or perhaps the O2 sensor is fine but you have a slight leak in a vacuum hose. If there is any criticism of Mechanics is that they will eventually replace the MAP...
  5. Purported Tesla Employee Confirms No 240v Outlet

It has been in the news for some time. Like all battery announcements "promise" is generally tempered by cost or manufacturability realities but since this is aimed at energy density and safety for aviation purposes cost may not be an issue.
  6. Cybertruck parked in (test driver's?) house driveway and showing excellent fit & finish

This was my childhood ride. Yes, in '72 we did travel from NY to AZ to visit my grandparents and then on to wallyworld...err Disneyland when I was 12.
  7. Cybertruck parked in (test driver's?) house driveway and showing excellent fit & finish

Yes, I live in Mesa AZ and can assure you that the highly tinted windows on my MY still allow lots of heat. Whenever my wife and I go out we try to park in what we jokingly call "Arizona shade" which is typically a small desert tree with tiny leaves that maybe will shade a small part of the...
  8. Musk: Tungsten Carbide Coating may be offered to scratch-proof Cybertruck. Overkill or oustanding?

I had looked into tungsten carbide coatings for a 304 SS cam application. It was a plasma spray and expensive. Maybe a sputtered coating? Perhaps Elon is just joking.
  9. Powered Frunk Confirmed! Video shows frunk's unpowered motor moved against its gearing

A habit that will take some time to forget...12V supplier components are not in the CT.
  10. Rollover Crash Tested Cybertruck w/ airbags deployed & smashed interior (back seat look)!

The kids will be watching the small screen. I don't know if kids these days understand what looking out a window means.
  11. New wheels / aero wheel covers spotted on Cybertruck -- 7/31/23

This is one (only?) view of the rear wheel that shows the hydraulic line and an adjacent component that seems to be a cover for the brake piston? Generally the caliper is a casting and the cylinder is machined/honed from the opening. The hydraulic connection and bleed holes are...
  12. Ambient lighting (interior) confirmed in Cybertruck! (spotted 8/23/23) + front camera display screen view

The interior design with the strip LED lighting and rear seat display is similar to the highland (M3) updates. The release of the highland and CT probably needed to be coordinated to be close together due to similarities.
  13. FRUNK SIZE MONEY SHOT! 💵 Production Liner Insert + Cybertruck Logo!

With the hood up for shade/rain protection my wife and I could raise the front suspension, lower the rear so we could slightly recline.
  14. Closeups!! Dual Motor Cybertruck shows frunk open, alcantara headliner, perforated seats, rectangular steering wheel, VIN # (8/31 pics)

Since the BAW is about a meter long the required torque would be NM (newton meters) a newton is about the force of the weight of an apple (newton=apple=easy to remember). So guess how many newtons at the tip of the blade the BAW requires? 4N? 10N? Since work has time included and the internet...
