Do we know how he's getting his truck? Is it from jumping the line with Tesla or possibly buying/leasing/something from a CT owner? The way he worded it I'm not sure he's getting it from Tesla.
I also don't see the point in Tesla worrying about getting trucks in the hands of "influencers"...
Indeed it does but your criteria would leave probably 90% of drivers unable to own a vehicle. Vehicles have been generally easy enough to control even in failure modes that the average person can do so safely in most situations.
Do you mean the battery and DC/DC converter? Because the battery is dependent on the DC/DC and won't last long if the DC dies, and the DC won't work if the traction pack goes offline. So they aren't really independent sources.
