This remind me the Chevrolet Volt who caught fire three weeks after a side-impact crash test at a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) testing center in November 2011.
The investigation revealed that the fire was not due to a manufacturing defect in the battery, but rather to...
Absolutely, case closed.
Note: Would the driver had survived, would the driver have sued Tesla for the loss of his vehicle because the "Battery cell chemistry used is hyper volatile and susceptible to thermal runaway" ?
I searched on Youtube and other sites, but beside the announcement about three months ago,
I could not find any single review or report of anyone actually getting their hands on a RWD CT?
Is there any new owner who would recommend getting a RWD CT vs. the AWD CT?
Note: I plan to build a bed...
I wonder if some GPS navigation Apps like Waze could prevent driving to a dead end?
I wish there was an easy way to modify and customise an itinerary that the Navigation generates.
You can add some way points but I wish this could be memorised for the next trip.
I believe you can generate an...
Tesla should make an SUV version of the CT, looking like this picture with the Urander rack,
and also remove the tonneau cover and the trunk wall separation, and add a third row seat.
It would certainly outsell the current CT, like the Rivian R1S versus the R1T
I live very close by and I was very surprised about the location of this accident,
because the area is flat, the roads are very wide and the visibility is great.
I was in fact thinking that the accident could have happened on Oakland Avenue,
which is very long and very inclined road, with a...
I guess, you need to use your phone cellular hotspot to be able to transmit the video stream?
It seems that they will use some bitcoins for payment.
I wonder how many years of driving you will need to break even the cost of the device?
You can already review your recordings using your Tesla...
Yes, good point, more recent vehicles have an additional front center airbag,
so seat covers compatibility needs to be checked.
Note: I wonder now if seat covers can still provide sufficient air flow for ventilated front seats?
Looking at this great picture from @Mars Adventure Gear
I wish that Tesla will make a "S" or "SUV" version with 5 or 7 seats.
In particular, it would be easier to camp inside and take advantage of the HVAC.
Honestly the Mars rooftop tent is nice,
but I feel that there is too much space...
But when driving away from main highways, like spending a weekend in the countryside,
and maybe doing some boondocking, if you can't charge at your destination,
only half of your full range is available to drive back to your last charging location.
The blue flashing screen is not sufficient to be noticeable, there should be noise and steering vibrations BEFORE showing the red steering wheel going to jail screen.
Very often, especially during bad weather or heavy traffic,
I don't keep my eyes away from the road and don't get chance to look...
So why there is a no-pedestrian and no-scooter sign at the entrance?
There should be a do-not-enter sign then if this was only unidirectional.
But I don't see any traffic light controlling the direction flow?
