My S had shrapnel from an accident during a rain storm, once the PSI on the tire got below a certain point, the car begins to limit its top speed gradually. I'd assume it's the same on any other Tesla.
I don't really think the 3 vs 2 motor argument would make much of a difference with regards...
There are a lot of use cases for HomeLink over MyQ.
Wifi is Down
Power is Down
Stopping/reversing the door from opening/closing while in motion
MyQ failing to open/close the door
MyQ Failing in general.

I really like the features of MyQ, but the damn thing won't send...
Agreed!
Some salt to the wound, version 2 is being sold at $190. That price is still ridiculous, considering it has already been discovered to be a defective product to the extent that it required redesigning.
Anyone that buys v2 is going to have to either have to find a way/pay someone to...
I got mine in today and added 12V to the cubby. Ran it from the step down I wired in the frunk. It’s switched off a relay that’s triggered by the 12V in the cabin camera.

hahaha in all honesty, that's a pretty solid suggestion. I was looking at some 3D printed ones, but don't want the wife complaining about hard plastic on the headrest.
Thank you, I currently am tapping to the 12v by the PRND on the roof, I've just been having issues with the e-fuse tripping in hot weather. Not really sure what causes it, but I am able to reset the fuse by unplugging the digital mirror and power cycling the truck, which is not something I enjoy...
Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I am tackling a different project and wanted to know if the OBD2 power is switched, or does it keep the camera on 24/7?
You should be able to switch it with one from a highland 3.
Someone did the opposite with that '65 Mustang built onto the Model 3 chassis. I believe all you have to do is move the buttons over from one to the other because the 3/CT buttons aren't interchangeable.
I thought about doing this...
